Jewel’s Blessings Home Care LLC begin in 2024 join with many others companies in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. Tequila Sims was employed by numerous home care and health care company as a Home health aide/ caregiver for over 30yrs. During her employment with other companies, she saw hundreds of patients. Tequila began to see a trend. It seemed as though every time she met with a new patient they would ask her for assistance in areas that she was unable to fulfill. The requests were simple, “Could you please go to the store and pick up a quart of milk for me?” or “Could you stay for a while and just sit and talk with me?” Unfortunately, being a home health aide/ caregiver and having a full patient load to see each day, made it virtually impossible to always honor these simple but necessary requests, by only attending to clients for little hours at a time she couldn’t fulfill all their needs. Each evening Tequila would come home and tell her husband, the trials and tribulations of not being able to meet all of her patients’ non-medical needs. After seeing company after company starting to pop out and become successful she wanted to join in and pay it forward to the clients that might be still struggling to find help. Her entrepreneurial minds began to work. They began researching the industry and the potential marketplace. Though there were thousands of companies providing medically related services and simple homecare they knew they had a good change of giving another hand.
