Those people keep an eye on my dad and perform basic duties and functions. The caregivers are pretty pleasant and pretty nice. Some are better than others. We have the opportunity to request people if we need to. I think some of them are a good match to my dad. There are 2 or 3 of them now that we have that are pretty regular which are fairly good matches. In times when they are not able to send people to the home when we are requesting, often times those people are not necessarily the best match. "

She helped him take a shower, conversed with him or talked with him when I was not available, and help me keep my home neat. The gal I had was tremendous, I liked her a lot and hated to lose her. They're not good about returning calls and they're short-staffed. I don't think they have enough people to help them, they can't keep a person long enough because they don't give them long hours, so they had to find jobs elsewhere. So I'm not impressed with the way it's organized. But the people were pleasant; when you get a hold of somebody they were very nice. But it was hard to get a sound schedule from the same person twice. They need to have more staff and there needs to be somebody you can talk to when you call."

"I used Maxim Healthcare for 2 years, nothing but problems...From nursing smoking, showing up in jeans and wife beaters, to nurses falling asleep, using their computer, using dish soap to wash his eyes, to diaper cream on his mickey button. I attempted to talk to the "office" people to get things to change. They would get rid of one problem and replace it with another. They even pulled all nurses from us, because we were choosing to move on to another agency because they were not fixing any problem we had. If you are smart, DO NOT USE MAXIM. "Kelly at ComForCare was amazing at finding the right caregiver to fit my Mom's needs. My mom has been in the United States for over 30 years but, the language barrier since her new medical issues have started to come on has been difficult to make sure she is getting the right care. Being passed off many times and not getting the adequate care has been a hard thing to deal with especially since I don't get to live with her to help out anymore. My husband has a traveling with him now since he is in the Army!
