I'm not stressed because the client is not by himself. I know he's fed. He's watched so that he doesn't fall. He gets to be social with someone and go out. With this particular caretaker, the client has said that he's patient and talks to him. The caregiver likes being a companion. The caregiver is not just sitting with him. He does exercises with him and moderates him. He spends time with him.

It was more to do with him than the service itself. We didn't have them do that much because he really didn't need much. They've been very accommodating to our schedule and they're always there when we need them.

They don't encourage the client to take a shower when they come in. They just go with the notes instead of trying strategies to persuade him to take a shower. Everything else, as far as cleaning and providing meals, is going smooth. It just started, so I am still trying to learn the healthcare organization. So far, everything is going good. Communication is effective, and I think everything is going smoothly.
