They are, but I don't have enough to keep them busy. They blow dry my hair and make my bed. They drive me to doctor's appointments with my car, which I insisted upon. Everyone has been very kind and helpful and has gone out of their way. They also cover some benefits for their people. The agency that helped my husband didn't help their employees at all or provide healthcare at all. Brightstar doesn't do that.

Some were outstanding and some of them were rookies who weren't familiar with a Hoyer lift. They should understand what insurances are and aren't accepted. They told me they took my insurance 100% and then after a week they said they didn't.

The caregiver I had was very nice but she was timid. I needed somebody who was a little bit more forth-right in what needs to be done, doesn't need to be told what needs to be done, and sort of takes the lead. There was a language barrier with the helper I had. That made it difficult because it took so long to explain what I needed done so I just didn't do it or I had somebody else help me.

The agency should have quality people on staff who are busy with my dad the whole time he is there. There should people who do not have as much of a language barrier. I don't disagree with having international people there but sometimes they cannot understand my dad. I would like to see their staffing and ability to schedule people improved. My dad has been dropped off the schedule many times and we don't know why.
