I contacted Benchmark to assist with in-home care of my father. An assessment was completed almost a week before my father was scheduled to discharge home. I was initially pleased with the presentation and services that are reportedly offered; however, 48-hours before my father was scheduled to discharge home, I received a call from Benchmark stating that they could not locate a caregiver.

Our senior parent was under care of this organization for 3 plus year. Service and attention was good in the beginning but quality went down over time. Main challenge was they were unable to find backfill if the scheduled care giver was not available. This happened 4 times, and we had to scramble to find someone outside of this company to provide service. Provider became a disappointment by no longer partnered with our family on the right caregiver fit for parent.

Benchmark was very flexible in coming out for an interview, and a home inspection. They were very knowledgeable, and I have a good feeling about them as far as personality. My mom, and grandma were very happy with the caregivers. They were very friendly, and helpful. They were amazingly flexible in providing us the coverage that we requested.

We hired Benchmark Home Care Services for my husband. I like that anytime I wanted them, they were ready. The caregiver actually is sort of babysitting my husband as he has Alzheimer's. She takes care of him and feeds him. If he needs any help at all, she is there. The girls that they recommend live close to our area so that was nice.
