I used FirstLight to provide care for my wife who has Alzheimer's. The care was provided over a period of several months until my wife was able to move into a Memory Care facility for full time care. The service provided by FirstLight was mostly to care for my wife (get her up, showered, dressed) on most mornings and then some evenings to get her ready for bed. That care included keeping her occupied and engaged, plus help with meds and eating. They also helped with some housekeeping needs and laundry, along with some meal prep. Arrival was always timely. We had the same caregiver almost all the time and we sure did appreciate her caring and helpfulness. She seemed to enjoy working with my wife, anticipating her needs. The interactions my wife and I with this primary caregiver were great. We didn't have enough time with other caregivers to give a fair assessment. FirstLight was always responsive to our needs, requests, and schedules during the time of our association with them.
