Recently my dad had to go to a studio apartment. The workers surrounded my husband and I with help, to make sure we weren't so overwhelmed with the move! They truly care here and we are so glad Dad loves it.

I was able to tour Meadowmere & Mitchell Manor Oak Creek. The only thing I didn't really like about it was that it was dark, it wasn't bright and cheery. I have seen their assisted living apartment. I would suggest making it bright, cheery, and lively. It wasn't welcoming, it was very quiet. The gentleman who gave the tour was very nice, he explained everything. They have a salon and a workout room where they did exercise. I saw an assisted living apartment, and the apartment that they showed had a person that smoked in there. It's near shopping if you drive, whereas, at the other place, you could just walk to those places.

We liked the location in Meadowmere & Mitchell Manor Oak Creek. It's very nice over there, and they have a little trail like right outside of the Meadowmere. You walk up and go over down the sidewalk. It takes you to a nice trail area. There's a nice walking area there. We met with the sales manager and also the manager of the building. They're both great. They have Continental breakfast. They actually offer that every day included in the rent. They have a nice lounge area, and they just place everything out and let you help yourself. It was the best location and had the best things to offer of the places we've toured. My parents are moving there on June 21st.

Meadowmere is a top-of-the-line facility, and the caring staff was very approachable. The manager made sure our names were spelled correctly, put a sign on the front desk to welcome us, and was very welcoming and comfortable being there. They offer two meals a day, but the assisted living apartment has a full kitchen. They have a host of activities and programs and memory care in addition. Its located very close to a shopping area, and they provide transportation, so people can pick up groceries without difficulty.

Mom is moving into Meadowmere and Mitchell Manor Oak Creek. The rooms are very nice. They have a variety of activities. Three or four times a week, they have something going on like entertainment, bingo, and other activities. The dining area is very nice. It is a large open room with lots of light. There is a library area, an activity room, a gift shop, and a large dining room where they do most of their entertainment. They have laundry service on each floor too.

Manor Pointe Oak Creek is OK for independent living, but it's not OK for someone who needs some help. The place is kind of majestic looking. Every apartment has a balcony that overlooks a field. Mom is in the independent living, so there are no services available and they are not very accommodating when she needs some help. They have activities, but only from Monday through Friday -- there's nothing on weekends. They have arts and crafts, happy hour every week, a band, food, and shopping trips.

I was very impressed with the apartment that Meadowmere & Mitchell Manor Oak Creek showed us. It was very pleasant, seemed to have all the amenities that we would like, and was clean and well run from our inspection. I liked the atmosphere. What we did not like was the location since it was a little too far out in the city.

I thought Manor Pointe Oak Creek was clean and small, but the room itself was gorgeous. It was a much more beautiful apartment-style room, and it was a small area where you ate. It had a tiny little library. It just was not welcoming to me, and it didn’t have that sense of community.

Meadowmere & Mitchell Manor is wonderful. I cannot see anything different about it. It is the first facility that we visited, and that is the facility we choose for our aunt. The staff is very friendly. Their rooms are very clean and in normal size for one person. The overall view of the place is great. They take them on bus trips and they play Wii bowling. They do a lot of activities with them. They have like a calendar that they put up, and even if they are going out, they do other activities with the residents. They even have happy hours for the residents. It may not be the same, but it is something that my aunt looks forward to every Friday. My aunt has no complaints. My aunt is eating better now than before. Everyday there is something different in their food. My aunt is basically a fish eater, and they offer two different things that they can choose from. They have a choice of what they want everyday. I have nothing but good to say about this place. I am very pleased where my aunt is. When you walk into this place, you will feel the hominess. The residents are friendly, and they are friendly with each other. The staff gets along very well with the residents. They are very respectful. Everyday there are smiles over there. When I ask my aunt how well things are with her, she cannot complain at all. She said the staff is wonderful. They do things with time. They paint her nails, and she is pleased with that.

We liked Meadowmere very much. The woman who toured us was very knowledgeable and very helpful with all the questions I had. They had three square meals a day. They had activities, and they always invited family in and did all kinds of stuff on Fridays.

Manor Pointe Oak Creek is where I put down $500 to be on the list. We choose this place because it is about 8 blocks from where we live now. It is in our neighborhood. I have been there four times before, so I’m pretty familiar with it. They’ve got parties on Friday afternoons. They have bingo, cards, and little social get-togethers. They have a library. They have a bus that they take for shopping for free. They only serve breakfast -- which is like continental breakfast -- and it’s free. There is a well-equipped exercise room, a chapel, and a room where they all get together. It’s a friendly atmosphere.

Meadowmere was wonderful. The services, security, and food were exceptional. The room was a good size and convenient. They had a great staff, a good meal plan, and a calendar of daily activities.

What impressed me most about Manor Pointe Oak Creek was the amount of activities. They had cards and they had a community bus that took them to the grocery store and doctor's appointments. There was a two-bedroom with a kitchen, a good-sized family room, and a patio door and balcony. The staff seemed very good. They were going through some changes at the time. Even though it's independent living, you would still have to walk to a different building to get to your meal, and that would be the one downfall, but they do have the transit bus that takes them to the dining room.

The apartments at ManorPointe - Oak Creek were attractive. They have two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments. The staff seemed friendly. I have not tried eating there, but my in-laws liked the food.

I lived right across the park from Manor Pointe Oak Creek. It seemed great; it's just that it was quite expensive and much more than I could afford. It is modern and quite large. The ones that I saw were one bedroom, and they were certainly adequate. They have the usual entertainment, i.e., every Friday, they have somebody come in and play or sing and they serve drinks. They do also have bingo.

I just walked in Manor Pointe, and they talked to me. The apartments were in good shape. I think I saw the one-bedroom and the studio. It was nice, and it was near the airports. They mingle, watch TV, and play cards. There were people that seemed like they were enjoying themselves. Everything was fine.

I chose Meadowmere because it was close to the family, and it took care of all the needs that my parents had. They have excellent staff. The facility is beautiful. Everybody is there to work with you and help you out. I would definitely recommend them.

I have had my mother in Meadowmere & Mitchell Manor Oak Creek for a couple of weeks now. She had a stroke, and she ended up in the CBRF unit because she needed more care; it's between assisted living and nursing home. It's very clean and well maintained, and everything in there is up-to-date, no worn out carpets, and the meals are good. The people there are very friendly. She has her own room. They take pretty good care of her, and she seems to be clean and dressed decently everyday; that part of it seems to be good.

I had a very nice reception at Meadowmere & Mitchell Manor Oak Creek. The dining room looked nice, people in the memory area were playing Bingo, and they seemed happy. The staff was very nice; I had a very nice welcome. The room that I saw was nice, and it was a nice size. It was sufficient for the needs of an Alzheimer's patient, and the bathroom was done right. It looked comfortable.

My husband is in Mitchell Manor and I was happy to see that there were only two exits and both of those are in very prominent locations, so somebody can see if he tried to go out. He is sharing the room with another man, and they share a bathroom. My husband has Alzheimer’s and while the facility is not a memory unit, almost everyone in this facility has Alzheimer’s. It is actually assisted living but for all practical purposes, it is basically a memory care unit. All the people that have worked there are very in-tune to caring for people with Alzheimer’s and at this point, I’m very satisfied with the way things are going even though this is not a true memory unit.. The staff was very in-tuned on how to handle people with Alzheimer’s -- what to say to them and how to redirect them to do the things that they need to. They play with a big plastic ball, bingo and he has been painting, which is amazing.

Meadowmere & Mitchell Manor Oak Creek was a nice facility, but it was apartments and not what I wanted with the assisted living. The 1-bedroom apartments were beautiful. They had a galley kitchen, which is basically all you need, and a nice-sized living room and bedroom. You had your bathroom, a walk-in closet, and a closet for storage. They were pretty good-sized apartments. I could picture myself living in one when I get older. The staff was very helpful, very friendly and outgoing. They would bend over backwards just to help you figure out what it was you were looking for.

Actually we're all set and my mom is in Meadowmere right now. The place is very well maintained. It is just a very very nice facility. It is more of a condominium-type of place. It is also assisted living, so they have their own apartment with services that come to the unit itself as far as nurse and medications, cleaning, etc. So it is a very nice set-up. They have a dining hall where you can have your meals or you can have your them delivered to your room. The staff is very friendly, very nice, accommodating and punctual. My mom likes this facility a lot. She has been there for three months now.

Meadowmere & Mitchell Manor Oak Creek is a nice place. It's very clean. The staff are so friendly and very accommodating to my dad, pretty much anything you could ask for. They were very much willing to accommodate different types of people. The rooms looked really new, very clean, and very appropriate as far as the handicap access. They have a beautiful balcony with a nice view. The food looks like standard cafeteria food. They serve their meals really early. They serve lunch at 11 and dinner at 4 pm. They have activities like exercises, games, happy hour, bingo, and they take the residents to shops.

Meadowmere and Mitchell Manor in Oak Creek are fairly new and well-maintained facilities. The exterior is landscaped and features a fenced in garden for residents. The interiors are clearly less than 10 years old and furnished to resemble a house. The atmosphere is more one of a communal house than a nursing home. They have a full schedule for residents of both facilities that is set up monthly so residents and visitors know what is going on ahead of time. The facility has a lovely atmosphere. The staff are well-trained and compassionate and caring for the residents. My grandmother has Alzheimer's/dementia and is clearly well cared for by all the staff. The staff have always welcomed visitors . On all of my bi-weekly to monthly visits I have not heard residents or visitors complaining about any of the staff. The staff have a thankless job taking care of our loved ones who need round-the-clock care and do an amazing job. I am very glad my grandmother is in such a nice facility and would not hesitate to recommend it to other families.

We visited Meadowmere & Mitchell Manor Oak Creek while in the region looking at facilities for our uncle. This facility can accommodate a variety of ambulation levels and as a resident's needs change, care can be shifted accordingly. The exterior resembled a chateau and appeared very well maintained. The grounds were nicely landscaped, with nice tree-lined walkways and seating areas for the residents to enjoy. The energy of the facility was friendly and peaceful and the staff very accommodating. There were plenty of rooms for the seniors to enjoy a variety of activities from reading in the library, to card games, physical exercise, crafting and enjoy many other hosted events where people in the community visit. The exercise center included regular classes, equipment to use and assistance to ensure safety while assisting the seniors in every way possible. The menus included all kinds of healthy food options for diets. Healthy snacks were also offered regularly and whenever requested. The dining room was beautifully decorated with comfortable and easy access furniture. The food was all nicely prepared and smelled and looked appetizing. The private living spaces were beautifully decorated with lots of nice colors, There was also plenty of fresh air and natural light. There was a large auditorium for interesting group events. Outside activities featured many interesting cultural events in the area such as music, films, art and other cultural gatherings regularly. The staff is very kind, caring and attentive to the seniors and they all look like they really enjoy living here.
