Kenosha Place Memory Care was a nice community, but they're short-staffed like everyone else and the memory care unit was larger than where my mother came from prior. There were about 30 people, and my mom came from a community of about 15 people. So, it was too much and there were too many wanderings in the room. We took her out of there because she broke her hip and she couldn't get from her room back and forth to dinner and breakfast, etc. and they did not have staff that was going to be able to accommodate that. The dining area was very spacious and well-lit. My mom had a living room and a bedroom, so she had a two-room and there are 4 two-room suites. Otherwise, they usually have one bedroom. It was very nice. I loved the room. However, it was in the corner of the building because the four suites are in the four corners and there's a lot of roaming around in memory care, and whenever we were there, there were always people coming in and out that didn't belong in there. Their prices were comparable though.
