"We talked about independent living at StoryPoint Mequon, and then we also spoke about their personal care, how they have different ways that they can match the needs of the residents to what their services are. We discussed the memory care because my mom may be needing more care than what I was in there for the first time. The building was phenomenal. I got to meet the executive director. She shared with me how they interact with the residents. All the residents have her personal phone number. They meet with all the heads of the departments once a month, how things are going, what's good, and what's bad. She gave me a great tour of the facility. I got to see residents interacting with one another. She showed the outdoor feature. There was like a screened-in patio area, a little barbecue area, a flower garden area, and a firepit area. I was very pleased with it. We saw the dining area. Upkeep of the place was excellent. It's very well kept and very well organized."

"I toured this community for my mom. The apartments are spacious and have a full kitchen. Staff was very knowledgeable and you could tell they cared about the residents. They also offer a pendant program for residents which is a call light button. They have a fun activities calendar with at least 4 activities a day. The apartments come with Wi-Fi, cable and bathrooms have a walk in shower, apartment controlled heating and cooling. The apartments are big. They offer housekeeping, laundry services, 3 meals a day. They did invite both myself and mom in for lunch and a tour. Also, transportation for any appointments that mom has. A plus of this community is the is right off the expressway and close to hospitals, drs offices and shopping area."

"We are choosing Ellen's Home of Germantown South for my husband because it seemed like a good fit for him. It was more sparsely populated and there was more room for him since people weren't right on top of each other. The place was very neat and the rooms were nice-sized. They had a bird aviary there, which was very interesting. It just looked like things were under control. No locks on the door, which was something different but necessary for some. The staff was very helpful and informative. Overall, it was a very good tour experience. It just felt right."

"We toured Charter Senior Living of Hasmer Lake. The young lady who gave us the tour was wonderful. The place looked beautiful and had some great scenery. The apartments looked spacious and well taken care of. We looked at two-bedroom apartments. They had very nice menus and food for everyone. "I highly recommend the Waterford at West Bend to those looking for assisted living or memory care options. Caring staff – The staff were willing to help in whatever way that they could. Mom referred to them as her “angels”. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place and the cheerful decorations made for a pleasant environment. Good support system – Amber, the director, is extremely knowledgeable. I sought her advice so many times since I had never dealt with assisted living situations before. I learned much from Amber. Her common sense approach to issues we faced brought peace of mind for our family. She always found time for us and was very caring. Fun group- Mom celebrated her 98th birthday during COVID. The staff wheeled her outside, along with many of her Waterford friends, to enjoy our drive through birthday parade. I also have fond memories of the Thanksgiving dinners and Hawaiian luaus they put on for all the residents and their families to enjoy. We made good friends from these gatherings. The staff and administration work hard to make you feel like part of their family. Nice accommodations-The apartments are spacious and comfortable. In the assisted living part, there are two rooms - a separate living room and bedroom. They also have a private bathroom with a shower. "
