The place my sister is at is the Regency Auburn. It is pretty much like most nursing homes. She is in a double room, and it is pleasant. It has a window, small with 2 people in it, and it has a couple of generous closets and a shared bathroom -- very basic and very plain. She has just been there for 1 day. The staff is friendly, but there are too many patients for the amount of staff. The food is regular nursing home fare. I’ve been to there to see my sister once when she was eating lunch, and I think she thought that her lunch was OK. They need more staff to care for the patients. Also, my sister needed a special bed, and that wasn’t provided adequately, so I think they need to provide better equipment.
