"The staff was very friendly and helpfpul. I helped them in the kitchen for two days. The residents have everything they need and could ever want, they are well cared for. The facility is quite large and houses many residents. I got to know some of them over the two days I was there and alot of them where friendly also. "

"My mother lived at Nova (Weber City) for 7 years, she recently passed. Staff are excellent and took such good care of her. She thought of them as family and they treated her as such. They provide resident activities as Covid permits , Church services several times a week and outdoor activity as weather permits. I highly recommend them. I had outside providers (Dr's and nurses) tell me what good care she was getting when we had to visit their offices. "

"My grandfather, Bobby Steele, was a patient and the Wexford house. The staff that works there is outstanding. They have a large and well maintained facility which has an outside area in the middle where the patients can go. My grandfather, and most the patients that i have seen, live with a roommate while they are there. My grandfathers roommate was rehabilitated and able to go home August the 27th. The facility has physical therapy for the patients that need it 3 times a day and my grandfather loves the job they do. They have gospel music and visitors there frequently and the staff really care about their job. My grandfather gets bathed every other day and is always clean when we visit him which is every day. I would recommend the Wexford house to anyone in the area looking for a nursing home or rehabilitation center for themselves or family member. "

"The kindness of the staff at NHC Kingsport is top notch! The nurses take time to pay attention to your issues. The CNA's help with a smile. When my neighbor needed some rehab NHC Rehab in Kingsport was recommended. So glad we chose them. They helped work through placement options and took the time to understand our needs. The care was excellent and we couldn't have made a better choice. Rooms were clean and we had plenty of choices when it comes to the food. "Preston Place II is very homelike. When you walk in the door, it doesn't look like a hospital or a facility in any form or fashion. It looks very homey. Everybody is extremely nice and very helpful. The staff is very friendly, very nice, and very attentive to their patients. They have hardwood floors, and you can bring your own furniture, so you can make it your own home. They have puzzles and gardening. They have a common area, a sunroom, and they have big-screen TVs throughout the facility where they can sit down and watch TV if they like. It is just a very nice place."

"Preston Place Suites was nice, but it was not on the level as the others as far as amenities and stuff. It was secure and clean. I did not have an opportunity to check the quality of the food, but it seemed like everything was pretty good. It had an exercise room. It was at a lower price as far as cost."

"My mother is living in Crown Cypress now. I think the staff is not only good at doing their job, they make people feel welcome. My mom loves it. She says she is treated like a princess. The rooms are very nice. The one she has just has a new carpet in it. It is freshly-painted, and it is very large. She says she is not expecting things like that. The food is really good. She is very satisfied with the food. The dining room is very nice, and modern. I do not see much of the activities, but I know they take them out on drive, let them go look out at what is around them. They take them out to eat every so often. Last Christmas, they take them out to let them see the lights. They do have crafts, and things that are going on constantly there. They really work well with her, and with me. "

Although the facility may not be an ideal place for an elderly and sick person, the staff make up for it by turning it into a positive experience with food, attention, and just sitting to talk with the clients - which most places don't do. "The place probably needs a little face lift, but otherwise, NHC Healthcare is great. My mom has adjusted very well, and the staff is very good. She gets a room, and they also manage her medications. There is a doctor on staff that occasionally drops by to see her, and they also have activities planned on a daily basis; she takes advantage of all of this. The place is clean. She is happy. There's a beauty shop, and she gets her hair fixed once a week. They have a common area and a wide screen TV. "
