"My mother was at Covington Senior Living of Lehi for two months. The staff was great. Her one-bedroom was great. She had a nice view and it's big. She went to their movie theater, and she did bingo and word puzzles. They had people performing and they would get her to go. She went to exercise a few times. They could've more washers and dryers. It's fairly new, so the whole building isn't full. They're doing the best they can for the residents."

"I toured The Rehab Center at Bristol. It was very clean, and the patients were taken care of. The families can go down and take their own furniture and decorate the room the way they want to. It's very nice. They showed us a couple of rooms that the families had come in and decorated. They had all kinds of activities they were doing. All the workers were dressed up for Halloween. They would go into rooms and paint pictures. They got this around-the-world thing that's nice. They may have meals to go with that, so that was really nice. The dining room was very nice. They had a chef that worked in the kitchen. They have movie night, and they serve them popcorn and everything, so that's really nice. The workers were helpful. They talked to me and taught me how to do some things that I needed to do to get my husband help, which I'm trying to do now."

"The people at English Meadows were very friendly. It was very clean, and all of the staff was pleasant. There was good selection of activities, and the food was very good. They have singing, bingo, cards, community activities, needlework, puzzles, gardening, and option for exercise. The rooms were very nice and spacious. The bathrooms were all accessible and very easy to navigate, and there were nice views from the rooms. They had a lovely patio, and the dining area was very nice and attractive. "

"My dad was a resident of Preston Place II. Until four months ago, he had been at Preston Place two for three and a half years. He was in a memory care unit. The reason I had to move him to another community was that he fell and broke his hip and is no longer mobile. At Preston Place II, you have to be mobile. In the three and a half years that he was there, there was no turnover in the staff that immediately took care of him. I got phone calls or emails at least three times a week on how he was doing. It's small; there are only 37 residents. They get them out of the rooms each day and tried to do an exercise class in the morning. They did painting and played bingo. They had a movie afternoon. They kept them busy as much as they could in the state they were in. But like I say, communication was a big thing. I did hear everything that was going on. They would take pictures and send them to me. He thrived on the food there. He gained weight. All they have are memory care residents and they keep them busy. The staff was very caring. Some of them were very upset when Daddy had to leave. He was very well-loved there. They knew their residents and they had personal relationships with them in that it was the same people caring for him all the time, not just somebody. The staff had certain people they took care of. I think if he stubbed his toe, they'd called me. They let me know when he needed some more clothes, or when things had worn out or his shoes. It was constant communication. The facility is spotless, too. The administrator cried when I had to take Daddy. She said it's her baby. She developed the program and has been there for 18 years."

"I've lived here at the Blake in Kingsport for 16 months and it's almost like being on vacation. Everything is clean, the food, on average, is easily 4 Stars. It's quiet. There are many fun activities which include games, going to restaurants, grocery stores and places of entertainment. When I need assistance, a nice young person will come within 3 or 4 minutes. But the thing that I like most is having friends that I see every day while eating in the dining room or playing games such as my favorite - Bridge. I never get lonely the way I did before moving here to the Blake."

"We took a tour for my mother-in-law. It was very bright, and welcoming, it is a very nice facility. I loved that there was a courtyard that they could walk in and out comfortably, and not worry that they would wander because it was enclosed. She has a little dog, and she could have taken her dog out to use the bathroom easily and got back to her room easily. We wouldn't have to worry that she would be walking outside, and no one knew where she would be. The person who assisted us was delightful. The place was very clean. It was very warm and inviting. There were lots of bright windows, lots of nice colors, and it smelled fresh. It was very nice."
