This facility deals with a lot of "specialty" patients, including rehabilitative, Alzheimers/dementia, Huntington's, etc. For the most part, the staff seems to be pretty friendly and they look to do a decent job with interacting with and taking care of the patients. The facility itself is not very clean though and it looks as if they could take much better care of it, although with the funding they get I'm sure that they don't have the amount of staff there that they'd like. I have seen worse though. The rooms there are fairly typical of other facilities I've seen. Most of the residents have roommates, although there are some single room there. The bathrooms are shared usually between two rooms, and it doesn't seem like the staff cleans them all too often. On my visits there, it does seem like there are activities for the residents to do there, including puzzles, bingo, movies, etc. I would say on that front they do a pretty good job there as I can't think of many more activities that you can do with everyone like that. All in all, I gave the facility three stars because while it's certainly not the best facility, it is definitely not the worst facility. I have seen and heard of worst. It could certainly improve though.
