My father has moved into Diamond Ridge. It's very clean, and everyone is very nice there. He has a cute little apartment, and I think he is happy there, which is important to me. He doesn't get around too much because he's got his own health issues, but they give him his meals, so all in all I think it is a decent place. I think their service is good. It's clean, it looks great, and it looks very appealing. From what I know and from what I hear from people there, their activities are good. Also you can either go to the dining room and they set it up, or they bring it to your room. He is happy with his meals, but they probably give him too much of it as he has plenty. The staff members are very friendly, too.

Diamond Ridge was small and very isolated. I was not impressed. I was getting the tour from a district manager who happened to be there, and he was excellent. His name was Tony. The apartments had very little in the way of a kitchen. Otherwise, adequate. One thing that's positive about it is that it's a beautiful area. The surroundings were very lovely. Tony was wonderful. The rest of the staff seems a little bit tired. I was not impressed. It was going to go through a remodel I understood, but it had not been renovated when I saw it and it needed renovation.

I toured Diamond Ridge. It was clean, bright, and sunny, with a lot of windows. The rooms were spacious. It was nice. They had a nice dining room. I only spoke to one person and she was lovely. They had a barbershop, a game room, a library, and a puzzle room set up. They had a lot of nice places.

Diamond Ridge was nice. I absolutely loved the whole apartment. I would have taken that one in a heartbeat, except for that it didn't have a kitchen stove in it, and also the price was a little high for me. I said to the guy that I can only go at a certain income, because my husband and I only have so much that we get per month, and I don't want to go beyond our means. The guy was very friendly and most knowledgeable. There were a few things he wasn't sure about and he admitted to that, but if you can tell me that you're not sure of something instead of hiding it, I respect you more. He was wearing multiple hats. He was here and there and doing a few different things. So, he was very professional considering that he was multitasking. The people that lived there were friendly, too. We were almost there at lunch time and the area where they ate seemed very clean, very neat, and very professional. Everything was there, even your meals. They actually cook and provide your meals three times a day, which I'm not used to because I cook my own food still. I like it, but I like to cook sometimes for myself.

We went to look at Diamond Ridge. My first impression was that it was amazing. It looked beautiful on the outside. The apartments were way more spacious than I expected. It was way cleaner than I expected. The staff and residents were super nice. It was just an overall great experience, especially for my first time. My grandfather ate there, and it was good. It's kind of far from where I currently live, but other than that, it was great.

Diamond Ridge was clean, but it was an older facility. I felt as though it was like being in a hotel with several different wings and I was just afraid mom might get lost in there and that she would come out of her apartment not knowing which way she needed to turn to go to the dining room. So, that was kind of one of my concerns, but Lisa was very nice and did a very nice job. I liked the idea that they offer a snack bar area all day long. They had sidewalks that you could walk around and gardens that you could sit and look at.

Diamond Ridge was just close by so that was a selling point for me. It's only 20 miles away from where I live currently and my father can afford it. The facility was beautiful and had a lot of benefits. You would have three different laundromats on site and it is free. You would just pay for your detergent. There are three meals provided a day with snacks. Once a week, housekeeping would come in and do some light housework. Dad would be in a handicap-accessible unit, which would be wonderful. It's all just been refurbished so it's got fresh paint, fresh carpet, and fresh flooring in the kitchen. There's transportation to and from doctor's appointments, not to mention just all of the socialization you're going to have just living in a community with other people as opposed to living by yourself. There are three different floors. They have studio apartments, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. They have a library, a gym with workout equipment, and a room where they have occupational and physical therapy. Now that's not included in the costs. You would have to pay extra for that. Dad is going to get one of those life-alert necklaces that he's going to wear. So should he ever need something, there's always some staff on hand that can come to him.

The Diamond Ridge facility was nice. It's probably not a choice that I would have chosen, because it felt a little older and the single studios or 1-bedrooms were kind of dated. I kind of wanted a newer feel and more up-to-date type of facility. The dining room looked gorgeous, very clean, very meticulously set up, and very lovely. But the living quarters themselves were not anything that I would be interested in because I thought they were dated. The gentleman who assisted me during the tour was very nice and knowledgeable. They have a happy hour for the people, they also had an outdoor area which would be nice to go out and you could have your animal or your dog come and visit. Some people have them live with them, so that's a very nice feature. It's very nice and quiet. We didn't try the food but they showed me a menu.

My tour at Diamond Ridge was good. I didn't see too much staff nor do as much there as the other place I visited. It's very clean and the interior was appealing. We were looking at a studio at the time, it's good and there's nothing wrong with any of them. It's just a matter of preference. They had a library, exercise bicycles, and a dining room. It's a different layout but it's fine. They have about the same activities such as bingo, painting, puzzles, arts, and exercise.

I visited Diamond Ridge, and I was very impressed with it. I would have no qualms about my mother going there. She is being a little resistant about things, so I'm still trying to help them to see if I can get my mother to go out there and take a look at it. They had everything; they have dining and housekeeping. The apartments looked very nice. They have a library. It's just lovely, the grounds are lovely, and a pretty dining room. They have a private dining room that if your family wanted to go out and just be there, you can have that dining room. So, I was very impressed with that. They gave me a salad when I left. It was chicken with walnut, strawberries, and greens. It was lovely and it was very good. They have a lovely patio, and a little fire pit out there. They have flowers. It was lovely, and very nice. The staff was very good, and I met the other director; he came over, Bob. He was excellent. They both followed up with me. Laurie called me yesterday, and Bob called me this morning.

My overall tour experience at Diamond Ridge was very good. The staff member that walked me through during the tour was wonderful. The facility was fine, it was very nice, and it's more than what I needed for myself. They have three meals a day. It was a little too far out from where I want to be, but it was nice. The food was wonderful and the variety was very good. It's definitely a positive place for sure.

Diamond Ridge was very nice. The rooms were very nice, very clean, open, and looked good. There's a dining room, a hairdresser upstairs, a back patio, and an activities room upstairs.

I was impressed with Diamond Ridge. It seemed clean, and the individuals living there seemed happy, busy, and healthy. Those were the things I was looking for for my own mother. It had more of a homey appearance and was more comfortable.

At Diamond Ridge, the person that showed me around was very knowledgeable and very helpful. The rooms were beautiful. I met a couple of the residents and they were very nice. The only reason we didn’t go with it was that it was too far from us. Everything was perfect except for the location. Everything was fabulous. The dining area was beautiful, and they did have a private dining area that you could use for private parties. It was perfect.

I'm in Diamond Ridge now. I was having a lot of trouble with cooking, and this community serves three meals a day. They have activities, and the people here are really nice. If they had a pool, I'd give it a 5, but they don't have a pool. We do have somebody who comes in and washes the floor and vacuums some stuff. Other than that, the apartment is left to me, but I'd say it's very good. The hallways are really clean, and the common areas are clean, so the cleanliness is good.

I was in Diamond Ridge for a very short time. I had lunch there. In all of the places that I visited, I was not impressed at all with the size of the rooms. Everyone was very nice, but it's just not for me at this point. I want to be more independent than what these places provide.

We tried their lunch there. They were wheeling people around. They showed us the facilities.

The gathering rooms at Diamond Ridge were big and bright. The people who lived there were really lively. As far as extending themselves and talking, they were good. We had a meal at Diamond Ridge and it was very good. Everything was clean and bright and made for meeting and socializing.

Diamond Ridge was very nice. The building was relatively modern and everything was all on one floor. The staff seemed to be quite competent. However, you would need transportation because there is virtually nothing available in terms of bank, grocery, drugstores, etc.
