The rooms are nice and comfortable to be in. The staff are caring however while I've been here Covid kicked in. An individual with Covid is allowed to wander where ever she wants to go never wears a mask. There are shared bathrooms and this women ever time she uses it opens the door into my room, she also while wandering in her wheelchair has come into my at least 4 times a day many days more times. Now I have Tested positive for Covid. They took away my fan which i can not sleep without. The management says they do not to infect my room mate. It that where true they would move one of us to a different room to stop me from contaminating him. Like I said staff are wonderful it's management that does not care.

I spent from November 14 until December 6 at this facility ( CLR) Rooms- Fair. Occasionally floors not cleaned up completely with miscellaneous small objects not picked up, None of my bedding was changed during my 3 week stay, Food - Over all poor and not appetizing. On occasion I could not bring myself to eat it after trying 2-3 bites. The one exception was the Thanksgiving dinner which was very good, Staff - Day shift people were more helpful and willing to respond to patients requests and needs. The night shift another story. During my stay I found only one nurse on the night shift to be very competent. His name was Jonathan. He was always on time with my meds and setting up 8:PM IV infusion. Others not so timely or competent. I learned after 2 nights not to bother to ask a question or request anything. I would be answered by," I'll ask her(or him)" or "I'll check. No other results. Another example: One night my IV had not been started by 9:00 PM. I rang for an aide and explained, At 10:00 I repeated my request to no avail. I rang again at about 10:45. Sometime a little after 11:00 a woman shows up. She couldn't get the IV to work, After about 10-12 minutes I asked if this was her first time doing this she replied "Second". After about another 5 minutes she told me she had better ask for assistance. Two aides or nurses and a supervisor show up and got the medication flowing. Scary to the patient. Administration: An example: When it came time for me to be discharged on December 6 the procedure took about two and a half hours. One hold up was the fact that a procedure, removal of a PICC line, had not been completed.. My wife went to the desk and was told the hold up was that the PICC line had not been removed yet. She explained that it was done over 45 minutes ago.

We chose CLR for the location as it is close to my parents’ home. They are here for a short term, but might go for the long term. Communication was good, and the staff was very good. It’s very clean. I think they’re doing a good job.
