The rooms are very nice and they have different floor plans depending on the size you need and the budget. As for the food, I think it’s better than most restaurants and they have choices. My mom lives there and I couldn’t be happier with the care she receives. The staff is very attentive and kind. Crystal is very informative when you tour and she makes you feel like part of the family

I didn't really like Our House Assisted Living of Tooele. It looked nice, but it felt more like a facility than it felt like a home. Another issue was getting a straight answer on the price. It seemed as if there were some hidden fees and stuff that I wasn't quite getting a straight answer on. It was the most expensive place that I toured. They don't do the resident's laundry unless you pay extra. If the resident wants to eat in the room, they charge extra for that as well. They just didn't seem to be able to give the individual care without charging a whole bunch of extra money. The staff member who did the tour was the same person that I talked to about the price, so I didn't really like that sometimes I wasn't getting straight answers. They have a couple types of studios and a couple types of apartments as well. They had a workout room that nobody was in, but it seemed nice. I asked them about the workout classes because they had listed on their website that they had classes, and she said, "We don't have those." I thought it was weird that they had that on their website, but they didn't have it. As far as how it looks, it's five stars.

My mom Janet has passed away, but my father David is now in Our House Assisted Living of Tooele. It's a brand-new facility, and we were able to get him a nice little apartment unit. His apartment has a little kitchenette, a dining area, a TV area, a bedroom, and a bathroom; it's very large. He does a lot of his own stuff, but they do his laundry, and they fix his meals and stuff for him. He is also allowed to have his puppy there. The dining room is beautiful, I think the food is really good, and the care is excellent. They have cinema, they have music night, they have bus rides, and even through COVID they have been able to do quite a few things. They also allow visits in his room during the COVID, and I think soon all of the residents and caretakers will have shots. The facility is beautiful, and the value for money is excellent, too.

I visited Our House Assisted Living of Tooele for my uncle. Even though this was convenient because I am in Tooele, it was really leaning towards a lot of women. I did not see a lot of men. It did not seem to have as much happy atmosphere of the patients. The outside was pretty and would be nice in summertime. It is a brand-new facility. The director was the one that gave me the tour of the facility. The apartment was nice, but it is just that I don't think it would meet his needs. I do not recall it having a washer and dryer in the facility. You have to take your laundry down to the area where they have laundry that they do, and you can do it yourself or have them do it. There is a dining room, but it did not look elegant. They had activities, but he did not go into detail with that. They do have security guards at the back door, then the front doors were locked because of Covid; that was nice. I guess it is to prevent people with Covid being able to slip in. They have the usual activities likes painting, exercising, and that sort of thing. Nothing is patient specific or anything. They also have bingo.
