Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Utah

My mother is at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Utah. They're wonderful there and she is recovering well. All the staff is great. Everything is amazing. It's clean and it's quiet. They give her three hours of physical therapy a day. She's flourishing. She just looks good and she sounds good. She is treated like a queen. She loves that. All the facilities are great. We didn't plan on it, but you can bring an animal and it can stay overnight on the weekend. They treat the visitors well. They offer you free soda, and it's $5 for any meal you want to eat with your loved one. They not only make the patient feel comfortable but any visitors. Cleanliness and upkeep are awesome. The floors sparkle. I've never partaken in any of the food, but mom says it's OK. She has kind of a restricted diet with her heart, so no salt, but they have lots of different kinds of substitutes like a seasoning packet to make it taste better.

Healthsouth Home Care was very clean, very friendly, and very helpful. It was a good place, and my mom liked it. The only complaint we have was the first night, they pureed everything for some reason, but after that it was great. She did both the physical therapy and the occupational therapy for five to seven days.
