My husband moved into Sycamore Creek Ranch at Cypresswood. The experience has been wonderful. We have a portable ring camera in there. They also have a camera in there. When we are not there and my husband appears to be wandering or confused in his room, they come check on him right away. When I am not there, the camera is not really to check on the employees, like so many people would worry about. I'm not worried about that at Sycamore Creek Ranch. My husband's room is quite spacious. I was surprised at how much familiar furniture I could take to make his room feel like home. The room looks wonderful. The food is excellent. My husband eats every bite. They even come and say, "Do you think that he would like a little more?" There are always vegetables and fruit. The facility is very clean. The staff is excellent. They do group activities once a week. The manager said that they focus on one-on-one. I do see them sitting at the desk, either doing puzzles with somebody or coloring alongside somebody. It's a one-story facility, so it's small. My husband comes out of his bedroom and in the one and only open area. He sees people regardless. He's not looking at a long hallway with no people. His room is nicely painted and feels like home.
