My wife is here. I like the place. There is not that many people there. It's always clean, and she is always dressed. I go around lunchtime, and it smells good there. They have everything that they need. They have the bed and everything, but we wanted our own furniture and stuff like that, so we brought chairs and the TV. My wife is in a semi-private room, but there's no one in the other room, so she has the whole thing by herself. They share the same bathroom if there is someone else in there. She has a very good room because she has three windows, and she can look out and see the cars passing. They have a small library where my wife can read books. They have a quiet room. They have a room for television where they show movies. Out back they have a fenced-in area, so they can't get out. They had a carnival the other day over there, but no ride. It was nice. I went and spent about three or four hours with my wife. When I went there today they were sitting in circle, and they were bouncing the ball, and they would kick it as best as they could. That was exercise, because a lot of them were in wheelchairs or walkers. They would sit around in circles, and the lady would talk and play with them. They play with a beach ball, but it's not heavy, it's really light. They have games and dominoes. They listen to music and all that stuff in there. While I was there, some of them got up and danced. It's just a thing. Before I could go see my wife, they would use a tablet and put her on there and we would Facetime each other, and that's the way I communicated with her. So, they were pretty nice. I called in the morning, in the afternoon, and in the evening, and just checked on her, and someone always answered the phone.

I toured. I met almost all the staff. The marketing person took me around and showed me a variety of rooms. There's a bunch of facilities there. I also met the chef who does the meals. It was a very extensive tour. I was impressed with the security. All the doors that lead to the outside are locked and require a code to enter and exit, so someone who has a memory issue and wanders off is not going to get out of the facility. They have a lot of outdoor facilities like a patio that is large and can accommodate several of their clients. When I got there, I was sitting in the library and there was a person who was conducting a game in the den area with a small group of patients there. Once a week they have an activity for the families to discuss concerns among themselves. They have a lot of activities. The staff were very competent and caring.

My mom is a resident of this community. She has been well taken care of the years she has been a resident. I vary my visits to different days of the week and different times of the day and mom is always clean. Have lots of activities to involve them and have celebrations for holidays and birthdays. Family is encouraged to be a part of the community. Staff is very caring and responsive to questions or any concerns.

I visited. It is about 4 blocks from my house. We just went to see if we wanted to keep my husband there. The building looked fine. It's a memory care building. They have nothing else, and I thought that my husband would be a little confused because it was pretty large and they had the option of going all around the building. I didn't like the shared rooms the way they were. I detected an odor that I didn't like, and also the person who was going to share the room with my husband was very rude. I think that that was his way of keeping his room private. My opinion was that I didn't like it. They have exercises that they can participate in, and they were singing when I left there the last time.
