The Legacy at Falcon Point was very nice. It was a two-story building, and that would be the issue that we had with it. But if it were for somebody who doesn't need a lot of care or a lot of assistance, it'd be extremely nice. We looked at the studio apartment there, and it only had a refrigerator. You could have a microwave, but they didn't have one in the room. It was very nice though. The staff who toured me around was very nice and very knowledgeable.

The Legacy at Falcon Point has a lot more activities, plus they give them the option of what they want to eat. If they don't have it on the menu, they could provide it. They have outings, which would be great for Mom if she moves in there. She will be in a one-bedroom type studio with her own shower and bath. They have a movie theater, a beauty salon, and several small entertainment rooms where they could sit down with a family, and then there is one section that has books. The staff was great, very informative, and very helpful.

I visited both assisted and memory care of The Legacy at Falcon Point. It was nice, efficient, and clean. The staff who accommodated me was very nice and very informative. The rooms were small, but the dining room looked like a restaurant.

The people at The Legacy at Falcon Point took care of my husband. He didn't complain about anybody. Towards the end, he was getting to know people. He wasn't there that long before he passed.. He was in assisted living. His room was very nice; it was quite satisfactory. I rate it a four only because I was kind of upset that they took all of his medications and destroyed them without even consulting me about it. I didn't like that. I didn't have that much association with the staff members, but those that I did, I'd rate them a five. The place was clean, but they're short of parking. It was difficult finding parking sometimes. Other than that, the place was very attractive and clean. I thought their activities were much better than what they had at the other community. However, my husband had a problem getting his medication right. It took about two weeks before they got them corrected. It was frustrating. However, it was a good value for the money.

My father-in-law moved in this past month. So far, I'm not impressed. The staff is nice enough but they don't put forth much effort helping the guests transition to their new home. When we moved in his room wasn't even ready! The toilet seat wasn't attached, the faucet in the kitchenette was loose, the seal on the refrigerator was coming off, a baseboard had to be glued back to the wall AND the air conditioner wasn't working! While some of the issues were aesthetic, the AC and toilet seat were hazards. When my sister-in-law spoke to the front desk they told her to place a work order. I could not believe my ears. We are dealing with a 90-year-old man. Really? The handyman did fix the toilet seat, baseboard, and came back later that night for the AC. I am so thankful we spent the day moving him in because he would have slept in that hot room had WE not realized the AC wasn't working. He also would have had a heck of a time using the restroom. Despite the unprofessionalism regarding the move-in, we chalked it up to the fact that it was a holiday weekend and they were perhaps short-staffed and that the situation would improve. We live nearby and stop by frequently to keep tabs on him. I did expect to see him attend more activities. From what I can tell, they don't grab him or remind him about the social gatherings. The brunt of that is on us! We will continue to monitor. This is a month to month arrangement--at this point, we will see if the situation improves. If not, we at least are not locked into a contract and have the flexibility to choose a home that better suits our needs and we feel is providing a caring environment. Sadly, we toured multiple homes a few times before making a decision. I am still hopeful we made the right one.

My father-in-law has moved into The Legacy at Falcon Point. The rooms are very nice. He has been there only for a few months, and he seems to like it. The facility is very nice as well. They have 3 meals a day, and he loves the food. The people are magnificent and really wonderful with him. He loves it there. He feels like he has found his home. The staff is very good. It's very clean.

We chose The Legacy. The move went flawlessly. My wife is happy over there and thinks she’s at a resort. She has gotten to know the caregivers, is eating like a horse, and keeping active. I have 24/7 access. The room is set up to be very conducive to go there and visit. The people are pleasant. I’m very comfortable with the medical staff and super comfortable with the Alzheimer’s unit. The director has an active part; she will get out and spend time there, and the nursing staff made sure that I knew how to get hold of her 24/7 to answer my questions. I have not found anything that I do not like about the place. It's far away, but I do not mind the drive knowing how happy she is over there.

We have had several family members over the years placed into several communities across the southeast US. This one is by FAR the best I have ever seen. Especially for memory care. Their philosophy is not simply to "provide locked doors and throw away the key," but rather build relationships with each resident individually and meet them where they are. The way they have given my aunt her "spark" back has been amazing! I encourage anyone considering memory care for their loved one to visit ther Legacy. Don't be fooled by "memory care only" facilities. We have done those before and they treat you like a psychiatric hospital. Legacy allows memory care residents to participate in all activities, according to their ability. We could not be more pleased

I moved my mother into this community a month and a half ago. I was very nervous how she was going to adjust as she wasn't too excited about the idea. The staff at Legacy has been amazing to help her and me through this transition. They have made sure she is given lots of love and attention, and have been very communicative with me as well. The nurse Rhonda has been great with my mom- she doesnt treat the residents like they are patients- but family. The brightest spots at the Legacy have been Fur hee at the front desk and Jerry the maintenance man. Fur hee gives me a hug everytime i come in and always has a smile on her face. Jerry has been great about adding shelving in my moms closet and helping us get settled in.

My Mother in law is at Falcon Point and it is a beautiful community. This staff is caring, knowledgeable, and professional; they go above and beyond to make Mom feel comfortable and she is fitting in excellently. I would recommend this community to anybody and I constantly brag on them!

My sister, a diabetic, was placed here. They had no one to administer her insulin, and when the insulin was not received from the pharmacy by Friday afternoon, they told our family that she was just out of luck until Monday. So, on Sunday, she was rushed to the hospital with blood sugar count of 340. Would give this place zero stars, if that was possible. Beware!
