One of the nursing homes was a beautiful facility. The floors were shined. Everything was clean, and pristene. I did not like the nursing care that was provided to my daddy because he had a couple or sores, and was supposed to get a bath everyday, but the staff stated that he refused these services. When asked if they explained the importance of the bath to wound healing they said that they did not explain it to him The other nursing facility were my uncle is in was an older facility, but the health care was better than the newer facility. My uncle appeared to be more happier than my dad. Overall,sometimes the newer facilities may not be up to pare conpared to the oler facility. Family should always to a walk through of each facility that they are thinking about placing a family member.
