My dad is moving into Morning Pointe of Tullahoma. The administrator has been very helpful, cooperative, and concerned. She texts me every day to check on my dad's status. It was very easy to work with her in getting us in there because he was on a wait list. It was very easy to schedule an appointment to meet with her, and she was just working with me to get him to that next phase. I took him there one day, and he loved it. When I told them about his consistent carb intake and heart-healthy diet, she said that wouldn't be a problem at all. They already have some residents who are on those special diets, and she didn't feel like there would be any problem accommodating him. That made me feel good. During the tour, we saw the two different types of rooms that they have. The day I took him there, they had a musician on site who was playing and singing for them, which she said they do a lot. They have choirs that come out to sing. They have a church service on Sunday, which is very important to my dad. I met the nurse and a couple of the nurses on duty, and they were very nice. It was pleasant. My dad even met a gentleman there, and they're both veterans and actually worked on an Air Force base in our hometown. I spoke to this gentleman's daughter, and she said that he loves it there. That's good to hear when you hear another resident, or their family, talk about how pleasant it is to live there. I was very satisfied and happy. We've already started moving his stuff in. The administrator said that's fine, continue moving his stuff in until we know when he's coming. She said his room is there, it's his. She has reached out to me by text every day since I called her. It's very clean, very modern. They have a common area where they have TVs, and people can come out and sit and watch. It didn't smell like a nursing facility. It was very pleasant, smaller than where he's been, but still very pleasant, very nice, very clean. The staff was very personable. I think it's going to be a good place.

My mother has been in Morning Pointe of Tullahoma for a year now. It is in our hometown, and when we compared, the comparisons were about the same. My mother happen to know some people who are there. They provide many extra activities to try to fill their time if they want to participate. Cost-wise, it is comparable to any place else that we looked at. We had a pre-orientation visit, and we all ate lunch. The food that they have has been very good. We are satisfied. She has a nice room, she is well-cared for, and they are right on top of everything.

My dad was at Morning Pointe of Tullahoma. They didn’t know how to handle memory care patients. Within a 2-month period, he was twice kicked out into psychiatric hospital. After the second one, they said he couldn’t come back, and that included not coming back to their Lantern, which was the memory care side of the community.

This is a very nice and clean facility. I visited this location to visit my grandmother, aunt and a family friend before they passed away. The staff took great care of my friend and family in a way that i wanted them too. When walking into the facility i felt a sense of warmth from the staff and from the elderly persons as well. They had a nice cafeteria and a hair salon for the patience to enjoy. The outside of the building was well taking care of with great landscaping and plenty of room for people to park. The best thing I liked about this location is the security. You cannot go into the location without pushing a button at the door to announce whom you are. That's a great way to ensure your family members stay safe from any outsiders.
