"My mom will move into McArthur Manor. It was very comfortable. It was very, very, very warm. The people there were very nice. I liked the place the minute I walked in there. The staff was very good. The facility was very clean. The layout is not bad. The rooms were adequate. The atmosphere was very homey, and everybody there was very friendly."

"Brookdale Tullahoma was a wonderful facility. It was nice, very well laid out, and thought out. The best part was, as we were touring the facility, the staff greeted the residents by name. It was very apparent that they knew their residents and they didn't just walk by. They were friendly and engaging. They had a self-contained courtyard that was very well maintained and utilized for parties and gatherings. They had an exercise room, an activities room, and a nice library. They had lots of different common areas, some large and some kind of more intimate for families."

"A member of our church has dementia. Her husband passed away, so she couldn't care for herself. We already knew about Southern Manor and we've already been in touched in with them. The people are great. The lady that we do business with does a good job and I would recommend Southern Manor to anybody. They'll work with you, it's a great place. They provide meals, they help administer medication and they also help fill prescriptions, so they're able to get medications when they're ready for refill. The facility itself is almost like a resort. They have a great dining facility, a hall for fellowship, the ground itself is beautiful, it has a mountain view. "

"My father has lived at this facility for 2 yrs. he suffered a quadruple by pass surgery. He needed assistance. after rehab. He is not the most easiest person to get alone w/. The staff and owner has done a great job working with him. You can't make someone do their therapy, (like anything you have to have a will. ) i spent an entire month every day with him encouraging him to make himself stronger in therapy -before he moved to EFC. People do not understand how hard it is to work with grownups. You cant make someone do something they don't want to do . As for food served- I have spent 3 nights 2 days at EFC once every 3-4 weeks. The res. eat a breakfast my father chooses cereal. They serve eggs, meat, biscuits etc. Dinner "meat and potatoes" type of dinner, at lunch time a light "sandwich" for dinner. I'm guessing its for digestion reasons. My father has gained more weight being here then a life time. He's healthy and has a T.V. to watch. He'll do therapy when he feels like it. He has the ability to go to smoke breaks this is important to a person who has smoked since he was 9 yrs. old. my father is a Vietnam Vet 2 tours USMC. I will agree its not the most fanciest place But they get the job done! I love my father very much and i check in often. Anywhere is BAD if its not home ,but they try very hard to show hospitality. The bed sheets are changed daily. close are washed the hung. Meds. are given and blood levels are taken. Thank you Rose D Venessa, Randell, Brenda S & Morgan! P.S. forgive me for name mis-spellings! "This is an excellent facility and I am in the position to be a good judge. My mother-in-law stated there for 6 years and my mother is at this facility at this time. She is 91 and I go almost every day to see her. I go at different times of the day and I am a register nurse of many years who taught nursing. The staff is caring, good in patient care, communicating with the patients, and recognizing the signs of a patient needing special help or higher care than they give. I give them an excellent rating in every area. "

"I enjoyed the warm feeling that I received when I walked into the Life Care Center. The employees were very nice and kind. The facility was very well organized but the only complaint I had was the smell. I do understand that some life care centers may have a smell due to diapers being disposed so I could look past it. I was very impressed that they had a small hair salon for the ladies and gents. I enjoyed dinning in there kitchen area. The selection of there food was fresh and appealing. The kitchen area was very clean and welcoming for a person or persons to enjoy a meal. My Aunt passed away about a month ago in this facility but they made sure she was comfortable, clean and presentable for her family to come in and view her. The facility gave complete privacy along with asking if our family needed anything. I would recommend this facility to anyone that may need personal care for the elderly. "

"The layout of Webb House Retirement Center was nicer than the other I visited. It was newer. We actually knew people who lived there. It thought it was more wide open, which I thought some people might like. People there could have their own private terraces or screened-in porches to make it a little homey feeling so to speak. We interacted with some of the residents there, and everyone there seemed very happy and very pleased with the facility. We actually met the gentleman that runs Webb House, and he was very nice. We met some people that worked there. Everybody was very nice and very helpful. They had a movie room, a computer room, and things like that. Everything seemed very well-appointed. I thought for someone that was there, he would be very pleased with it. "

"The employees truly care about the residents. My mom has been here for a couple of years, I have never had a problem. They go out of their way to pay individual attention to each resident. They are patient and kind with all of them. The food is good and the facilities are clean and cheerful. My mom has a private room with a bath. They do something for every holiday. I’m so lucky to have found Bailey Manor."

"Grace House is like no other assisted living facility! It is a home, and all staff and residents form a loving and caring family. They provided forever lasting beautiful memories for me and my family. It was an incredibly hard decision to place my family member in a care facility, but once I found Grace House all my guilt and fears subsided and I knew I made the right decision. My loved one never wanted to leave she loved it so much, lol. Thank you Grace House for all that you do and all your love."
