I'm currently staying in Spruce Manor Nursing and Rehab. It's like a nursing home. The only thing I need help with is seeing that I take my medications. Other than that I can take care of myself. It's a wonderful place, it's very clean, the food is good, the nursing staff is wonderful, and the helpers are great. I can't find anything negative about it. Right now, we're not using the dining area, we're eating in our rooms because of this virus going on. They have a hair salon, shower area, and they have a gym. It's just a great place.

My mother was a patient there and the staff didn't attend her peoperly or even feed her at times. This ongoing abuse has to stop. In Gods name we all have to get together and do the right thing and help those people who are being abused.

The facility has really changed over the last few years. They did renovations on the first floor and their therapy gym is amazing! My mom had to go there for some short term therapy before coming back home, and her care was nothing short of amazing. Tom in therapy did a great job getting her back into shape.

We weren't pleased with Spruce Manor at all. It didn't seem clean and sanitized. The nurses stood around in the nurses' station just talking. My mom had to wait forever for the nurses to change her. The main hallway smells urine when I was there.

My family has developed an excellent rapport with two staff members, specifically, and good rapport with several others. Management has been very communicative and willing to hear complaints and compliments.Staff cut my family member's nails, and it was horrendous. The nails were cut straight across and were dangerously jagged and sharp. Two of the nails split down and were not bandaged. My family noticed significant bruising on my family member's hand. My family member is prone to bruising, so no abuse is suspected, but staff was unable to explain the bruising. No falls or incidents had been documented.
