I would recommend this nursing home as they have taken good, kind and respectful care of my father. On Memorial Day, the staff went over and above to provide a veterans program for those residents and their families. It showed their sincere dedication and care for their residents.

We were there most of the day visiting a family member in the dining room On a weekend. We arrived In morning, there were patients sitting in the hall in wheelchairs, also in dining room there were 3 women patients along with our family members. We arrived shortly after breakfast and left just before supper. 1 nurse came in and gave a family member her pill. She was never asked if she needed to use restroom along with the other 3 poor women who had been in the same spot all day!!! I went to restroom In dining room and the lady sitting back by the restroom ask me for help. She was lost had no idea what was happening. Went and told the workers who were all standing by desk that that poor lady needs help. Also we had to go ask for someone to take our mother to restroom. She says I’m not sure how she goes. We’ll go find out! I stood and watched as she wheeled her down hall the same people were still sitting in same places in hall. She left my mom sit there for 5 minutes then pushed her into restroom. 15 minutes later brought her back. Now you tell me none of those patients have to go to restroom or be changed from breakfast until supper. We left and I’m sure they were still there after supper until bed time! Well I would not leave a pet in there to. R cared for. Our family member is now home and happy!! Your place needs shut down!!

My dad has been at the Quality Life Services - Mercer since mid-December, and it has been good so far. After he got out of rehab, he was moved to a different room where he went for long-term residency. I only know that he had a roommate before when he was in rehab, so that's two bedrooms, their own bathroom, a TV, and a closet or a dresser. The staff is wonderful. I talked to several of them a lot to see how dad was doing because you can't get in to visit him, and they have always been very good. The facility looks very nice, too. When we went in to do dad's admission for long-term care, we met with the social worker in their community room where residents used to come up if they had visitors, and it's very nice. The dining room was also nice. They have an activities coordinator, and he participates in some of the activities. He did bingo, they listen to music, and he enjoys watching old-time Western movies or TV programs. He is eating fine and mostly finishes his meals. When he was there before for rehab, he said the meals were really good as well. We were satisfied with everything.

I am a friend of one of the current residents. I visit this facility regularly. It is always clean and does not even smell like a nursing home. The care my friend receives is excellent and the staff members seem to genuinely care about every resident. There is always an activity going on when I visit; I have seen Wii Bowling, bingo, and many other types of activities, outings, and parties. I would recommend Countryside to anyone and this is the only home I would consider for my own parent or grandparent. This is a wonderful place to call home.

Countryside is a beautiful Home with a friendly atmosphere. The staff is well trained and friendly. They always greet me with a smile and are very knowledgeable about my loved ones care. The home offers several activities throughout the day that are catered to my loves ones needs. They have tray less dining which satisfies everyone's appetite, and the food is delicious. The home has an excellent Housekeeping staff on sight, my loves ones room is always clean, organized, and has a pleasant smell. I would recommend Countryside to anyone in the Community who is looking for placement for their loved one. Countryside treats everyone like family.

It smells of urine and I don't think the disinfect enough. My parent acquired Mersa and C-diff while there. The food is horrible. Worse than prison food I was told by a prison guard that that his dad there. All they care about is money. They don't care about the people. I saw a lot of depressed people living there. It is drab and lifeless. The residents are not allowed to sit outside in nice weather without staff and there is never enough staff. They are forced to stay inside breathing piss smells. On top of all this my parents clothing was stolen on a regular basis. We bought nice clothes and they were never returned from laundry. I would never recommend Countryside to anyone.
