My family is very grateful to the 3rd floor staff who cared for my father. We appreciate the thoughtfulness and compassion extended to my father and to us by Marcia, the nurse practitioner, Marcia, the 3rd floor nurse, and all of the other staff involved in his care. Thank you so very much.

I was a patient at altoona center for nursing care. The center was very clean. The housekeeper that cleaned my room was awesome she did a great job. The room always smells so clean. The staff is amazing when you ring your call bell they answer it very quickly. Therapy is so helpful the employees in the therapy room are very nice. Over all I will definitely recommend this facility to everyone that needs help.

The Altoona Center for Nursing Care is a great nursing facility. The staff has been amazing transiting my family member to the center. Anytime i have a question the staff is more than willing to help answer or find the answer if they do not know. The multiple times I have visited, the center always smells amazing, and it never has the "nursing home" smell. The other residents always seam so happy staying there. My family member is always excited to attend the many activites and to enjoy the delicious breakfast bar that is offered during the week. The food is always delicious and fulfilling. We love the altoona center for nursing care. ❤

My mom is in Altoona Center For Nursing Care. My experience with everybody has been really nice. I call once a week to check on her and find out if anything has changed, and they communicate very nicely. They're really considerate and friendly, like when I sent her flowers on her birthday. She belongs to a medical group that they're affiliated with; that's why she's there. They have activities for holidays and sent me a picture of her with the Christmas tree. She has a shared room and for the most part she's comfortable there. They also have a community hall where the residents can gather.

I thought the staff was good at Altoona Center. He had a private room, and it was very nice. It had a nice bed, a little sitting area, and a TV. I was pleased with it. My dad said the food was good. The dining room was small, but it was fine. It was a smaller facility.

I felt that the facility was not clean. There was never soap in the bathroom. The staff was not attentive to my Mom needs. She was not happy.
