Bayberry Commons was very nice. The staff members were excellent and did a good job. The rooms were adequate for a person living alone. It depends on what you pay for. You can get more room if you need it. They had a large dining room. Some people ate in their own rooms, and they had a little kitchen and stuff. I had a meal there, and it was very good. The grounds were not very large. They have houses on the property that you can live in.

Bayberry Commons Assisted Living & Memory Care was very friendly and very nice. The residents and staff were extremely friendly. It had a good atmosphere. It wasn't overly large, so it felt like my mom could get much more personal care if needed. The staff was very accommodating. The director of the facility was extremely nice, kind, and had been working hard with us to make it work for us to get my mom in there. We went to a barbecue they had. It was very nice and very good.

The rooms at Bayberry Commons were bigger than other facilities. They were very clean, nice-looking, and comfortable. The general common area was spacious. They have an outside area with tables and a garden. It was very pretty. We liked the place, but they didn't have an opening at the time. The person that took us on our tour was very nice, very informative, and a delightful person.

We visited Bayberry Commons. The staff member who took us around was great. It was kind of quaint, but I liked the layout. The dining room was really open and had a high ceiling and a lot of lights. It was a happy, clean place. The residents seemed very happy. It was fairly modern and close to the hospital. They had pretty good security as far as keeping track of the people and used walkie-talkies with the staff, so they were very alert to where the people were and if they needed help. They had a good care plan for each patient and seemed to know who needed what, and I liked that. The outdoor area was nice.

I wasn't so impressed with Bayberry Commons Assisted Living & Memory Care. It seemed like a nursing home to me. The staff was very friendly and very kind, but this place had an institutional feel to it.

Bayberry Commons was recommended to us. We were impressed with the people in general. They were very kind and very helpful. It was homey looking. We were just not looking for assisted living; our folks are not ready for that yet.
