My mother-in-law moved into Jasmine Estates of Edmond. The place is really nice. The staff is wonderful. After I get home, sometimes I'll call back. They are really good to talk about her needs, what she's doing, and what they are doing for her. When I'm there visiting, sometimes my mother-in-law will shut the door. They will come and tap on the door to check on her. They do that frequently. They check on her and the other patients, too. If their doors are shut, they'll come and check to see if they are OK or need anything. The menu for the food is excellent. She loves the food. She gets three very good and healthy meals. She has her own studio room, and it is really cute. She has her own private bathroom. She has room to move around. She has a big, nice walk-in closet. There is a nice sunny window for her to look out. She has a full size bed and a stand for her own TV. We have observed her playing dominoes. The church is brought in livestream on the big TV. They all gather around and watch it together. They have games and arts. They have popcorn and all kinds of snacks throughout the day. They have these really pretty French doors on the side, where they can walk outside into the gardens. They can walk around and still be safe. The thing that was most endearing was seeing the staff sitting and holding a resident's hand and talking to them. You will see them put their arm around a resident. They will just hug them and encourage them. Those women are so sweet to the residents, and that's what sold me on this place.

My friend has moved in. They keep it very nice, and it doesn't have any smell to it when you go in. The personnel there seem very friendly, and very helpful. The rooms are pretty nice, they're very adequate. On St. Patrick's Day or Valentine's Day, they had a parade. They get the patients all involved and doing different activities for the parade. I know they've got a new activity coordinator that they just hired, and it looks like she's doing a number of different things, so they do try very hard to get the residents involved. I haven't tried the food, but I've seen it. It looks pretty good. I've seen the menu, and I've been in when they've been eating in there, and it looks pretty good. The staff, I would rate them very highly. They seem to be doing a very good job. I watch them with the patients. They're really good with them. I haven't seen any signs of abuse or anything like that. The facility is really nice. You walk in this really big open area, and its light colors. It's very nice. I know they got two TV rooms and there is a salon there. They have an outdoor seating area, it's a courtyard, so the patients can't get out, but they can go outside in the courtyard.

It's facilities were in excellent condition. It seemed like the residents were active and engaged. The staff seemed to be competent and caring. The person who accommodated me was excellent. She was very informative and very knowledgeable. They did show me a dining area for families. They have a room where the families can have meals with their relatives. It's an isolated room where they can have some family time together without the other residents. I thought that was a very good idea. It was actually one of the few places that provided that opportunity.

It was good and clean. They were having functions going on when we visited, and the person who gave me the tour was very good and knowledgeable. They have landscaping -- which is nice -- but pretty much concrete.
