There were nice people at Hearth & Home At Van Wert. However, they got you in, and then they kind of raised the rate right away. We had a lot of problems with it because they were trying a new thing and it didn't work out. My mom was there for over a year. The staff were really good. Mom just loved them, but there were a lot of turnovers over there. They had good food for her to eat. She is on a special diet, and they made sure that she had everything she needed. They always had something going on or they helped her out with what she needed. They have courtyards and a beauty shop. They were able to take them to appointments and things like that, too.
