My mom is a resident of the Landings of Sidney. She's got a nice big room. They keep it pretty clean all the time. The food there is good, which she likes, and she already knew three or four people there when she moved in. The staff was very friendly. They play games, and they have entertainment come in. They take him to Walmart one day a week. They get their fingernails done, and they have a beauty shop there. They do have a lot of activities. They're a lot cheaper than some of the other ones around here.

Landings of Sidney is very nice. It seems to be the most reasonably priced out of the three facilities we are choosing from. The staff is so friendly and helpful too. They all speak to you every time they see you in the hallways. It's nice, neat, and clean. They have breakfast all day, which is nice. They serve three meals a day. They have snacks and refreshments available 24/7. The rooms are very spacious. The building itself and the lawns are very well kept, very well maintained, and very clean inside. They have a kitchenette and a living room area that you can use for your whole family to come in for holidays or birthdays, as well as a nice activity room.

My tour at Landings of Sidney was great. Jenny did a really good job. She showed us around. We went into the office and discussed some questions. My father-in-law said that if he goes anywhere, he wants to go to this one. It was clean, and everybody was nice. He did walk down the hallway cause he knew a couple of people, and that's helpful that he already knows them. As far as the food goes, he gets three meals a day. They have a menu, and they have a chef. They have transportation if he needs it. All he has to do is go in and sit down and get his meal. They do his laundry, clean his apartment, and do just everything. All he has to do is just go in and enjoy himself. They have a game night where they play cards. If we want to come over and cook outside with him, we could do that too. They have a grill outside.

The rooms at Landings of Sidney were very well laid out. Depending on what you want size-wise they have that available, depending on the amount of money you have per month. We like the idea that it's basically a month by month with a 30-day notice. So if something happens, we can move my mother-in-law out of there. We didnt have to go into a long-term contract. My mother-in-law has adapted very well there, and she's enjoying it. The staff has been very helpful to her. As far as the little bit of entertainment she's been to, it seems to be going well. She's talked about a movie night that they had, and for Thanksgiving they had a meal that was set up special. They did a very good job. The building is pretty nice, and the value in terms of the price is the same as everybody else.

I found Lane Park for my mom. She has been there for a couple of weeks now, and our experience has been very good. The executive director went out of his way to try to make sure that mom could come to this facility. The food is good, and they let me eat with her without charging me. Her room is clean, and the nurses and everybody are very good. Everything is fine -- I have no complaints. Plus it's a brand new facility.

They were informative at LanePark of Sidney. They answered all our questions, and they seemed to be specially skilled in handling people with dementia. The rooms and apartments were spotless. They seemed to be well kept. The food was excellent and well balanced for seniors. The dining room was like a formal restaurant. It was really nice.
