Shaker Gardens

I am a resident of Shaker Gardens. The support staff, nurses, aides, and physical therapy department are the best. I don't eat their food. I shop by myself and eat in my room. I prepare my own meals, and now and then I will go down to the dining room but it's very seldom. They have bingo and movie nights. They have specials on Friday where they serve ice cream and cake and then come together and play some games. They have birthday parties for residents. They have crochet classes. The size of my room is fair. The furniture is junk. The bed is broken. The drawers fall off my dresser. The floors are filthy. They keep promising to give me new furniture, and they have been making that promise for a year, and haven't done it.

I'm going to choose Shaker Gardens Nursing & Rehab Center for my uncle because that was the only one I kept calling that would accept him. The place was good, they're nice and everything and it looked like any other ones I've been to. The staff was good because they explained everything and they were nice, I don't see anybody mistreating anybody. In terms of cleanliness, I didn't see any nasty stuff lying around, nothing like that.

I noticed there wasn't any unpleasant smells throughout the Shaker Gardens. Their dining room was clean. I liked the rooms very much. They were quite large and very nice. They appeared to have an agenda of activities.
