My mom is at Norwich Springs Health Campus. They help her with physical therapy and occupational therapy. She needs assistance pretty much getting up and getting back into bed. The staff members are attentive, but like every place they're short on staff and it's noticeable at times. It is very clean outside of the patient's room. While in the patient's room sometimes dirty linens were left or trash that should be emptied was left for a couple of days. I have not tried the food myself, but it looks delicious, it smells delicious, and my mom really likes it. It has been the best place so far for food. The value for money is pretty fair, too.

The room size in Norwich Springs was acceptable, but the room cleanliness was bad, messy and the smell stinks by never doing a thorough clean. The bed was broken but never changed before Bob was discharged. Over two weeks, every day the care fee was $1000.00, 20% out of pocket,another 80% from Medicare. Bob never received a nail-cut, no shave, over five days, he didn't get a chance for showering. The food was solid, hard, was not chewable, less liquid provided, food was less fresh, less vegetable, meat was old and hard, the snacks were so junk, no security provided to Bob. Bob was neglected when he was staying there, no medical support at all. Bob was in advance discharged owing to such poor care. The day Bob passed away was the day he was supposed to be discharged. This was a disaster experience for Bob and for me and for his family to go through. If this facility keeps running, it would have more innocent patients get hurt and insulted.

I found Norwich Springs Health Campus for my dad. Our experience was very good. The facility is brand new. It's very clean and up to date. And there were not very many residents in memory care, so the staff wasn't too stretched. The staff was good. The rooms were great and nice. The food was very good. He ate in a smaller dining area. It was very nice, with nice china and tablecloths and cloth napkins, which was much better than where we had been before.
