Continental Manor Nurs and Rehabilitation Center is clean, neat and the staff is excellent. My mom kind of keeps to herself, but they have bingo, games and something every day. My mom loves the food, she said she thinks there's an old grandma in the kitchen cooking. The food is all made from scratch and she loves it, and she hasn't had one bad meal yet. The staff have been exceptionally helpful with everything. Regarding the cleanliness, I have seen a few little things but nothing major.

My visits to this facility were bi-weekly. My great-grandmother was well cared for. She was always clean, her room was immaculate and her diet was strictly adhered to. The nurses were kind and caring, always ready to do what was needed to make my great-grandmother stay healthy. The nurse's aides were not so wonderful. I always felt like they didn't really care for the patients, as if they were trying to keep from forming emotional attachments. In my opinion the administration should try harder to hire aides that honestly enjoy spending time with the elderly, and that understand facilities such as this are often the last stop for the patient. The seemingly uncaring aides would not really be much of a problem for a patient that had frequent visitors. The aides ALWAYS did their jobs, and did them well. Overall, this is a very good facility, and I would recommend it.
