"Jan Frances is a decent nursing home, but it is not the most modern or best facility available. My grandmother resides here, and she is cared for competently but not in any outstanding fashion. Some of the staff make the most of what they have and are quite friendly (such as the breathing therapist my grandmother sees), but some are not excited to be there and unafraid to show it. I would not really recommend this facility unless you or your loved one cannot afford a better nursing home. I do not think you need worry about being utterly neglected or badly cared for, but, at the same time, there are most pleasant places to spend the golden years of one's life. I have not seen much sign of social activities at Jan Frances. It also has a bit of a rundown appearance to it. It is, I believe, the least expensive nursing home in the city of Ada, so it is just a basic facility. My grandmother is dependent on government assistance to afford it, but, if you can afford better for you or your loved ones, it would be worth your time to check out other facilities in the area. "

"I wouldn’t bring my family member here the staff is always short their is too many nurses that don’t know anything about a patient. Everyone is always busy talking to eachother. Most of the time I’m having to take it upon myself and give my sister a bedbath because the care isn’t taken care of always. It’s a good place for physical therapy but overall it’s not a good place for one to want to leave your family members to live in. "

"I had a father at this facility and they treat him with love and compassion. After he pasted away my mother had to go there. They were very compassionate to all the family member. they let me and my sister stay there while my mother was in her last stage of life. They gave us food every day so we did not have to leave her. They do really care about everyone in the facility. Thanks for being so kind to all of us. I would recommend this nursing home to anyone that is looking for a compassionate place to place a family member or friend. Thank you Artesian Home "

"My dad’s room was large and comfortable. He accepted Boyce Manor as his new home and the staff as part of the family. The staff was always friendly and informative. The office staff helped me with Medicare and hospice questions. They had many group activities and seemed to get many involved. The staff treated my dad with respect and love. His last year was difficult, but they made the best of it with him. I’m extremely grateful for all of them. "
