"I have to say this nursing home feels like home knowing that it it feels like home helps a lot with keeping your family member there! I also know employees we go outta there way to help & to make anyone comfy... they have employees who have been around for years & you can tell they care.. every nursing home has there problems but I can say if this home is aware of the problems they will do what it takes to fix it.. I also believe some people have to understand it takes time to fix problems & do things the right way.. "

"Placing a family member in a nursing home is traumatic and stressful for everyone. Woodview helped me as well as my mother through the process, This place is not glamorous but what really counts is how quickly the resident adapts to and feels safe in the new home. The entire staff watch out for and are involved with all of the residents. The residents all seem to be happy and comfortable. This is a wonderful place for people with Alzheimer's because of the quiet and calm environment. My mother has been here for almost one year and has told me many times nice everyone is and how safe she is. That is most important for the Alzheimer's patient. It doesn't matter how modern or posh a place is if the staff is cold and non-caring. Woodview ROCKS! "

"My grandmother spent her last year in Elmbrook home. I think she enjoyed her time there. We were allowed to visit her whenever we liked. The nurses came in every hour to check on her. Towards the end the specified her diet for her because she could only eat soup. She was taken in her wheelchair to visit her friends in the other rooms. I think she really loved it. My friend worked their too which made it a good experience. My friends mother happened to be a manager their as well. I would recomend this home! "

"Jan Frances is a decent nursing home, but it is not the most modern or best facility available. My grandmother resides here, and she is cared for competently but not in any outstanding fashion. Some of the staff make the most of what they have and are quite friendly (such as the breathing therapist my grandmother sees), but some are not excited to be there and unafraid to show it. I would not really recommend this facility unless you or your loved one cannot afford a better nursing home. I do not think you need worry about being utterly neglected or badly cared for, but, at the same time, there are most pleasant places to spend the golden years of one's life. I have not seen much sign of social activities at Jan Frances. It also has a bit of a rundown appearance to it. It is, I believe, the least expensive nursing home in the city of Ada, so it is just a basic facility. My grandmother is dependent on government assistance to afford it, but, if you can afford better for you or your loved ones, it would be worth your time to check out other facilities in the area. "

"I wouldn’t bring my family member here the staff is always short their is too many nurses that don’t know anything about a patient. Everyone is always busy talking to eachother. Most of the time I’m having to take it upon myself and give my sister a bedbath because the care isn’t taken care of always. It’s a good place for physical therapy but overall it’s not a good place for one to want to leave your family members to live in. "
