"My mother has been at this facility for the past month and a half, and its great. I visit her every weekend, and everyone is so delightful. My mom's had attitude has done a complete 180! She had no desire to go to a facility, but she loves it there now. I know Ms. Charles has been a big part of that and keeping her happy! Its also very nice that it is in a beautiful area and close to home about a 15 minute walk away in Park Slope. Keep up the great work Hopkins!"

"Ditmas Park Rehab or as the people here say "Ditmas", is a great facility. My family member was here over the last few months and we are all very happy. Rehab: The rehab downstairs is unbelievable. The therapists are patient and understanding. The progress my loved one made was honestly not in our slightest dreams. Nurses: The nursing staff are top - notch. Medications are given on time and with a smile. Meals: The food here is actually quite good. We are always offered complimentary guest trays when we come visit. As much as people think that all rehab center/hospital food tastes the same, this doesn't. Administration/Social Workers: Very accessible. The administrator and his assistant do daily rounds and have a good grip over what goes on on every floor. There is a lot of construction going on because they are expanding into a brand new facility with other services. Don't let that turn you away. We are really happy with the care here and would recommend this to everyone!!"

"It is very nice. It is an older facility, but kept well. People were friendly, and informative. I know they have the independent, assisted-living, and memory care too. I looked at the independent, and assisted-living part. The memory care is in a different building. They have a little store that the residents run. They have all kinds of arts, and crafts. They have an area where there are birds, and rabbits for the residents to care for. This facility has a homey atmosphere. "

"Sycamore Living is brand new. It just opened in the spring. It's on the small side, but I don't know how many residents they have, I think it's under 50. It's modern and clean. My mother's been there for 2-1/2 weeks now. The staff is very informative, and they've been calling and keeping us posted on how my mother's doing, so the communication is very good. I guess the food is fine; I haven't heard any complaints. I like it. It's very open. My mother's in a private room, but I would know better if I was able to visit her and I was walking in the hallway. I only had a tour of the facility, so it's hard to say. It just looked very nice. It was an office building that was reconfigured to make it into a nursing home or whatever you call these facilities. They have assisted living, long-term care, and rehab. It's a large building, and it's brand new."

"My mother is in Lincoln Park Renaissance Rehab & Nursing. It's excellent. I'm very happy with them. It's very clean. The staff is awesome. They take very good care of my mother, who is hard to take care of. They're always friendly and always smiling. They have little concerts, they play games, they have art classes, and Zumba. It's very active. There are a few things every day. My mother said the food is very good. The choices are good, and it tastes good."

"My brother-in-law is in St Joseph's Seniors Home. He's going to stay there when he's done with his rehab. They are caring and very efficient. It's excellent care. He's very clean. The people who care for him are very experienced and very caring. He is clean-shaven. His medical needs are met. He likes his food. They said he's eating well. They have activities. They have met his spiritual needs. He goes to mass every day and can receive communion every day."

"I'm staying at Amboy Care Center. The lodgings are all right. There are very minor discrepancies, but it's just fine with me. The staff is very good. They're prompt with the medications, and they give me what I need. The food leaves a lot to be desired, so they need changes in their menu and in the quality of the food."

"This facility is stellar...my Dad is a resident there. Every day there is fantastic activities. Rooms are immaculate, staff is helpful, rehab department is top-notch. There is a cafe, library, gift shop, chapel (Mass every week), bank in the main lobby. Residents can go outside, play bingo a few times a week, they are taken shopping, to movies and to restaurants. Entertainment is brought in, different service organizations visit, holidays are celebrated...jukebox is always playing great music...etc., etc., etc.!!! "
