At the time of admittance, I was unable to even get in or out of bed by myself. Ten days later, I am walking out of here, compared to being brought in by ambulance. The staff, from the therapists, housekeeping, dietary, nursing, maintenance, to activities, and office staff have been truly amazing. They have made my stay here pleasant, productive, and most of all welcoming. Everyone here is treated with courtesy, dignity, and respect, but most of all I felt very cared about, and the staff genuinely celebrated each tiny step of my recovery journey with compassion, joy, and passion. I highly recommend Manorcare for anyone needing that extra help and support in their lives. "Advanced Health Care of Reno was new and so posh. It was like going into Ritz-Carlton. They took good care of my wife. The specialist who took care of her was very good. Her room was really clean, and the whole place was excellent. The meals were delivered to the table, like in a restaurant. Everything there was high class."

"My mother in law was in the skilled nursing facility for a couple of months recovering from a back injury that left her temporarily paralyzed from her lower back down her legs. the day shift staff was excellent as they provided her with great care and addressed all of her concerns in a timely manner. It seemed all the staff members worked together to help the patients with their daily needs, such as the physical therapist getting the patient a snack, or rubbing lotion on them, even though it was not suppose to be part of their job. The night shift on the other hand was not as attentive, and i am sure because they had less staffing than the day shift, but they tended to get angry at her if she rang her bell for assistance to much. The patient were kept clean and everything was disposed of properly so there was no overwhelming odors when you walked down the halls. The staff was professional and friendly and it seemed every one worked as a team to ensure the safety and well being of the patients. "
