"My mom was at Grant Cuesta Sub-acute and Rehabilitation Center. It was a very good, sub-acute nursing home. She loved it there, and I really liked that place. The staff was very good. They had activities, and an activities room where my mom could go. They also gave physical therapy there. The food there looked really good, too."

"My father was admitted to Los Altos Rehab Center about 7 months ago. We have found that this center has the most caring, loving, and professional staff. My dad had very serious conditions and complications, and I could trust the staff that they have done their best. It was the best decision we made to have my dad there, since by no means we could have supported him at his home the way he was supported at this facility, and we had peace of mind, to know that he was well taken care of even when we were not there all the time. At his passing, Laura director of activity was very supportive, and despite her busy schedule attended to his funeral and the staff has been keeping in touch to see how my family is doing, We strongly recommend Los Also Rehab center to anyone in need of care for their love ones. The staff are really angels and we do not know how they handle all the people with serious conditions, and stay calm and caring. I personally want to thank, director of center Marc, for his support in moving my dad to another room because of his room mate situation, Janet the social worker who supported us through out difficult times, Laura director of daily activities who brought all patients together on daily basis keeping them interetsed and have them involved, while socializing with one another, most kindest and caring people were the nurses: Miss. Nini, Sheila, Melanie, Merta, Lizel. Last but not least the nurses assistants specially Bijo, Wanchi, and the list goes on, who had the most difficult job, but dispite of that they did so much for my dad I can't never thank them enough for all the care and love an attention they have given my dad up to his last breath and beyond. "

"My mom is at Sunnyvale Post Acute Center. The people were very kind, and my mom was welcomed very warmly. The facility is like a one-story multi-wing building, and there's a big courtyard in the center where people can go and get some sunshine. There's a fountain in it. The rooms are nice, but there are no showers in the bathrooms. The social worker is very kind. The room is more like a hospital. They have a workout area and a little library. I wish the residents had a little bit more outdoor space."

"My mom is staying at Lytton Gardens. It's reasonably priced and convenient. They treat my mom consistently well. The staff members are good. The food is average. The quality is good, if not exceptional. It's nutritious, but not overly flavorful. They have games, movies, and trips. The facility is old but well-kept."

"I had great care for the week I was recovering after a hospital stay. I was given lots of attention from compassionate nurses, nursing assistants, therapists, and social workers. I left after just 6 days stronger and more balanced on my feet due to the knowledgeable and attentive programs and staff. It was wonderful to have my own private room complete with a private shower looking out over the beautiful grounds."

"We toured Sunny View. They have some two-bedroom places that are not connected directly to the main building. The person we talked to thought it would be better not to put us in one of those because my wife and I are using walkers. When we go somewhere that requires a long distance, we have a transport wheelchair, and a wheelchair up and down some of the slopes wouldn't be a good idea. So, she suggested a very large one-bedroom, which could be used for the king bed and a desk. The problem was that their halls were long, a long way from those units to the dining room. So, that was a downer as far as we're concerned. It was an interesting layout. It had two bathrooms, but it wasn't something that we would jump into at this point. The place was very nice and I had no problem with it. The chief person who talked to people and looked for the place was very nice. The price was higher than we would like to see. That particular room they had was in the neighborhood of 14 grand or something like that for two people. It was high, which is a little more difficult to handle."

"This facility is really nice and enjoyable. Grandfather stayed there for roughly 4-5 months. Always said good things about the caretakers. Plenty of activities for the people staying there as well. They were also very proactive when things got bad so we could get him the proper medical care. Overall I have nothing but good things to say! "

"My wife was in Cedar Crest for about a month and a half in a shared room. They had good activities and did some outside. The people working there were very nice, and the food was good. "

"I visited facility several times. Staff immediately approached me smiling and offered help. Facility is very clean and patients look very happy. I asked one of the patient if she likes the place and she replied it's the best nursing home in the area. I was convinced after I was given a tour of the facility, that place is very well managed, owners care about their residents and employees. "

"Sequoias-Portola Valley was an excellent place. It has a square layout with a central office, a lounge, and a dining area. The units were scattered all around, and they were all on one level. There was a swimming pool, a gym, and an arts and crafts room. The grounds were very pretty. The lady was very honest, helpful, and straight to-the-point. I really thought she was excellent. We may move to this place in two or three years."

"I like Valley House Care Center. It's very close to my house. The staff is really friendly and very accommodating. It's pretty fair and OK, and they have physical therapy. They have Bingo, someone plays the piano, and someone sings and dances."
