"Recently, my family made the difficult decision to move my grandmother into this facility. Understandably, we were quite anxious at first, especially given some negative experiences with other places in the past. However, we’ve been pleasantly surprised—and incredibly relieved—by how happy she’s been here. Unlike her previous residences, where she often voiced concerns about the service, she hasn't had a single complaint since arriving. In fact, she regularly tells us how much she enjoys the food and how kind and attentive the staff are. It’s heartwarming to hear her speak so positively about her caregivers and the overall environment. The rooms are clean, cozy, and truly feel like home, which has made a big difference in her comfort and well-being. We genuinely believe this is the best place for our loved one, and it gives us peace of mind knowing she’s receiving such excellent care. If you're looking for a safe, welcoming, and caring environment for someone you love, I wholeheartedly recommend this facility. "I am very Disappointed in this nursing home, The staff is poor! they are more interested in there social life then the residents that live there. We have found so many CNA hiding out in my Grandmothers room rater then doing their jobs. They were also busted for lying about her eating they would say she ate when she refused My grandmother has Alzheimer and was neglected and is now in the hospital because of these careless employees. She is dehydrated on top of and infection that no one seemed to notice. She was no longer alert by the time they sent her to the ER. I also found out they didn't bother to get her out of bed even after our family requested it. I worked as a CNA for several years and never would i have treated or neglected any of my residents the way they have my Grandmother. It don't matter If they are combative or not you focus on there well being, and take the time out to make them at home. "

"I'm here. If you need help whether it's for PT, OT, you need medication help, or you need someone who can take care of you while you're recuperating from an accident or surgery, then this is the place. It is an older building, but they are trying to make it more up-to-date. Like anywhere else, you have good and bad staff, it just depends on how you are with them. If you have a good attitude, then they're gonna reciprocate and respect that. A lot of them respect the residents. I would probably say 98% of them do. They do very well with cleanliness. Housekeeping goes through two, three, or four times a day and they make sure that everything is wiped down. They wax the floors, and they sweep the floors. The tiles are always washed, and the trash is always empty. You don't have trash sitting in the corner. The food is good. A lot of times, they have more than I can eat. They give you good proportions, so it's good all the way around. We have bingo and nailcare for the males and females. We have monthly birthday parties. We have music and dedication or devotions for church service type things. Right now, with the COVID and everything, it's hard for people to come in, so we do our own praise and worship. They have enough staff, but people get sick and they have to go home, so it's nice if you have people that can be on standby. Everything is very well maintained. It's an older building, so it needs improvement in some places. They make sure the residents are engaged. They make sure that you're not just sitting around twiddling and in the bed all the time. They make sure they get you up and be interactive. If you have a loved one that needs a place to have care, I would recommend The Blossoms at Cumberland. The staff that they have here do care about their residents. If you have a need, they do what they can to help provide it for you. If they can't, they try and find a way to get it for you or they will solve the problem if you have one."

"I visited this facility on a regular basis throughout a period of several months sometimes twice a day to visit my Great Grandmother, who suffered from mild dementia and needed round the clock availability of care towards the end of her life. Although I don't believe anyone would call any nursing home "cheery, All American Care did seem to generally keep above the minimum standards of care for its patients, including my Great Grandmother. We never had any significant issues with staff, and my Great Grandmother seemed to generally feel and be safe and cared for.Generally, if I asked someone a question about my Great Grandmother's condition or health, I was treated with respect and given a comprehensive answer to my question. I never got the sense that anything suspect was occurring when I was not around.Overall, I would rate the facility a 4/5. I would have liked to have felt that the center was less clinical, but the reality is that it is, in many respects, a medical facility. "

"My dad was a resident of The Springs of John Barrow Health & Rehabilitation. The care was good, and the follow up was good. The staff was very helpful. Each time I called, someone answered the phone, and they were helpful each time. I called to get information and follow up on questions, and they did a good job. The communication was good. Their nurse practitioner was good and kept me in the loop. It was a good experience throughout the days that he was still living there. The staff was fine."

"This is a really nice pleasant small facility. I went to visit a friend at this particular facility, and I was very impressed with how clean the facility was. Her room was nice a spacious and she had lots of privacy. Her room was really nice and clean and she told me that housekeeping come to clean her room daily and if other assistance is needed someone is always available to help. While visiting with her; we went for a walk and everyone appeared to be happy. And the staff members were really nice and pleasant. The facility had three different sitting areas for guest and people that live there. The front entrance sitting area really caught my attention because it was right by the front door and people could see who leaving and entering the building. Also, the building has a code for entrance which is really safe. I really like the location of the facility as well because it's located in a nice shady pleasant area. The outside area is really nice and I was told that many people usually visit with each other outside on a daily basis when the weather is nice. And my friend mentioned that they even have BBQ outside/inside, which I thought was really nice. The dinning area was really nice and clean. The dinning room area reminded me of a banquet hall because of the cloth that was placed on each table. Over all, I really enjoyed visiting my friend and I was happy to know that she enjoyed living here and it made her feel like she was at her old home. Also, the name pleasant is a really good indication because the facility is really nice and pleasant. "

"I was very impressed with this facility as well as the location. The staff members were really nice as well as the decorations. The inside of the building had a real nice aroma and it was very clean. I went to go visit a family friend and I was so shock at how nice their room was. The room was a little small, but it was really clean. She had her room decorated really nice and it felt as if I was inside of a studio apartment. The staff members came by a lot just to make sure we were alright. She had only been staying there for two weeks and she had already made many friends. On this particular day they were getting ready to do bingo; this was really nice for her because she told me she enjoyed winning prizes. I stayed a while and I helped the activity director as well with the Bingo games. I stayed long enough to eat dinner with her. I ordered a dinner plate in the cafeteria and the dinner was good enough to eat. I took a look at the menu and it appeared as if they had different menus each day, so the taste could vary depending on the meal. I really liked how the facility had living room areas as well because we spent some time visiting and watched a little television. After a while I left and because she had guest to come by which was her friend that lived within the facility. "

"This is a very pleasant quiet facility located down below a hill. The area is really nice with, which reminds me of a forest because of all the trees that surround the area. I went to this facility to visit my love one, which I was just happy to see a nice newer looking building. Next, the landscaping on the outside of this building was really nice. And someone greeted me when I walked in, so I had no problem with finding the location of the room. The building was spic and span and decorated really nice. My family member room was really neat and clean. When I went to the room location staff members were cleaning the room and leaving. They were really nice they asked me if I wanted anything to drink, which I thought was really nice. My family member was really happy, it was the happiest I had ever saw them. I thought at first they would be afraid to move in a facility, but after staying a few weeks they were use to the routine. I asked my family member if she liked it and I was told yes because they felt like their at home. In reality they were at home, but just in a new location that can assist them if needed, Finally, I was happy that my love one was enjoying their stay. And I was happy to know that a staff member is always available if needed. "

"Overall, the Springs Chenal was an exceptional place to stay for inpatient physical therapy rehab. I was there for two weeks, and I felt like I was catered to by the staff who went out of their way to accommodate my every need. To the kitchen, maintenance to the transportation staff, all the nurses and CNA’s, were all friendly and helpful and made my stay a pleasant experience . The OT and PT staff are so knowledgeable, make you work hard but were so much fun to work with."

"We placed our brother in Premier Health, and Rehabilitation. We have been very impressed. They seem to have a lot of patience with our brother. They are very nice to my brother. He is 63, and is our baby brother; but he is retarded, and his mentality is like a 6-year old. They bathe him, and we are really surprised that they have scrubbed him really good. He likes his bath over there. He likes his food. The people are good to him. He cannot talk. He can only say some words, and he can understand simple things. They have really worked well with us. We tell them what certain things means that he says, and so forth. So, we are extremely pleased. He is just as happy. He comes from a past facility; which he had to work chores there. He broke his leg several years ago, and has a very bad limp. He has pains, and all of that is making him miserable. So, I'm very happy he could go to someplace that he did not have to work. They have just been very good to him. It is clean. There is no smell. The rooms are somewhat worn, but they are all clean. We have no complaints right now. He cannot say so, but he says “hoppy.” That means he is happy. So, we are very impressed with it, and I think they have all levels. They have people that come in for rehab term. We are just really happy with them. "

"My mother will be moving into Parkway Health Center. The reason we chose them was the room is private and it's a good size. It's 150 square feet. I asked about the call light, and how they get notified if she needs something or whatever because where she's at now, only the light goes on outside. At this place, the nurse gets paged, the light goes on outside the room, and the nurse's station or front desk gets alerted also. The price was significantly less because it's self-pay for a while. She's got to use her money until she can get on Medicaid. It's nice, secure, and it's got a security guard at the front. They stop everybody that's not a resident there. I didn't meet with the staff except for the admissions department. It wasn't chaotic when you walked in. It was a lot calmer than where she's at now. It was quiet. They have a courtyard and an activity room, and some of them are just watching TV. I think that they have their own appliances in their room. The only person I interacted with was very helpful."

"My mother was in Colonel Glenn Nursing and Rehab for 2 months. They communicated with my daughter. I didn't like that I received the notification on a Monday that I needed her to be moved on Thursday. I wasn't putting her back to the other facility, so it was kind of stressful, but they did give me an extra week, and I was able to find something and get her moved, so they worked with me on that. Whenever I called, I would get information from the nurse, and find out exactly how her care was going. The food was fine, and I think the therapy was good."

"Hickory Heights is a really nice place, fairly modern, and clean. Most of the staff is really compassionate and good. The food is great, but the rooms are a little bit tight. They don’t have single rooms; you have a roommate. Other than that, it’s fine. They have a very good activity director. They have bible study classes and musical programs that come in for the residents. "
