My friend has stayed at Austin several times and I have visited there many times. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are no foul odors and that impressed me. My friend says that the food is better than any where else he has ever stayed and they can have seconds if they want. The food certainly smelled good when I was there. Most of the folks that live there are up and about and there is a friendly atmosphere. I would have no hesitation recommending this home.

Austin Adult care is a bad place. My uncle lived their and they do not feed their people very well. When he was living their he called us all the time to bring him something to eat. He told us about people trying to take the food we brought him, because they were hungry too. The works do not really care about the people who live their. They do not give out the med at the correct time. He said when people can not go to the bathroom, they were a diaper, the works do not change the diaper regularly like they should. I would not recommend this place to take your loved one.
