I toured Woodhaven Court. There were plenty of employees on staff during the day. However, I was worried about the night crew. The atmosphere was good, and the people seemed happy. It's an older facility, but it was clean. The food looked good. The only thing is that the patrons must have been hungry because they were already standing in line about 45 minutes before it was going to be dinner. I think some of the patrons, their family keeps extra food in their rooms so that when they come, they can pick some small sandwiches and stuff like that to ensure they're eating well.

My Mom for about a year and a half was under the care of Woodhaven Court Assisted Living in Albemarle. While under the care of Pat and her loving and compassionate staff met her total needs as well as well as the needs of our family. I felt a real genuine love for my Mom there and they tried very hard to treat her with the up most of dignity. During the final days that my Mom lived the staff reached out to our family with love and compassion beyond what i could of ever believed. If you are looking for a special place for your love one, this is the place for them to be. Family of Joann

my father was just placed at woodhaven court in albemarle nc,,and it is beautiful,,clean and the people are so caring and considerate,,i was nervous about my father going to an assisted living home,,but i have no worries,,knowing he is here i can sleep well at night,

I was happy with the staff and the amenities of this assisted living facility. My Grandmother was given good care, but still allowed some independence of her own. They seemed to have lots of events for the residents to participate in. My Grandmother enjoyed doing their craft project and giving them to her younger grandchildren as gifts. I joined her a few times for the Thanksgiving dinner that they hosted. I was very impressed with the food provided. When my Grandmother didn't want what they were serving, she was welcome to her keep her own food. We bought her a mini fridge to keep in her room, as well as a microwave. My Grandmother did have some problems with a room mate. But, after the situation was addressed, she was eventually given a different room mate. Overall, I was very satisfied with the facility.
