I would equate Mercy Nursing Facility at OLV to a five star hotel. The staff has been courteous. The food is excellent. It's made onsite and served on Chinaware, doilies, and cloth napkins. The rooms are very large. Dad has a single private room and you can furnish it anyway you would like. So, it kind of makes it more like home. It is very nice. They have an activity area where they do exercises three times a week depending on their physical abilities. It's a class or group type of program. They get my dad up, trying to walk him with assistance, to keep him mobile. They have other group activities like games, visitors that come in, some music, and a even movie day.

Mercy Nursing Home at OLV (Mercy Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility) had excellent staff and facilities. My mom's room was spacious, and she stayed there for two weeks. The bathroom was shared, and she also had a sink in her room and a nice view from her window. They were accommodating and took care of her. They had hairdressers and did people's nails. They also had a rehab center and good meals. Each floor had their own kitchen. It was family-style eating with larger tables. The place is a little bit older but it's still in good shape. They were also cheaper and better than my mom's previous facility.

We were blessed to be able to care for our mom at home until she was 88. We were able to achieve this through enrollment in the PACE program when she was 84. Our mom thrived here! She enjoyed the activities, was comfortable with the staff and had wonderful dedicated nurse practitioners, nurses, and aides who grew close to her. We gathered with our family to say our final goodbyes this past July. This group of caregivers cried with us. They were like family! We were blessed and grateful that mom transitioned very peacefully. Whenever we had questions or concerns, they were addressed. Our hearts were heavy when mom had fallen and we could no longer keep her home, but through OLV and the Mercy Nursing Facility, we were given another year-and-a-half with our mom! God bless all of these professional dedicated caregivers for this gift to us! We remain sincerely and humbly grateful!

Mom is in Mercy Nursing Facility. It is top notch. It is a beautiful facility. It has private rooms. It is clean and has wonderful care. My mom does limited activities because she is confined to a wheelchair. The staff is outstanding. They are excellent. The place is extremely well maintained.

My mom is in Mercy Nursing Facility now. It is part of the Catholic Health System. It is our choice because of the care, the activities and the nursing staff there. I particularly like their staff's attention to detail. Their rooms are all private and they're all beautiful. However, they need to have more beds so that more people can be there. Regarding food, I have not yet tried eating there but my mom likes their food. They also have plenty of activities for their patients. They have celebrations, they would say the rosary, they would encourage families, etc. They also have games and everything. I would definitely recommend this place.
