My mother was a resident of this facility. I warn you to never take your loved one to this place. They are incompetent and It should be shut down by the state. Most of the nursing staff is acceptable but the doctors and administration are unethical. My mother was being neglected and not having her medical issues addressed. Only after we brought it to their attention, did things start to get done after several weeks. Unfortunately my other family members had no medical background and could not see the neglect until I arrived from out of state. I am in the medical field and was appalled at their standard of care. I fear other residents are being neglected as well and no one is noticing due to lack of education, they are getting away with this!!

My dad went into TLC doing well just needed a little rehab and caught pneumonia and a infection. In just two weeks time. They did not bathe him or feed him for three days. I wouldn't put my worst enemy here.

TLC Care Center was a care facility that was a whole lot better than the hospital. They took care of mom, but they released her for assisted living and she didn't live very long after she was released. The hospital released her to TLC for rehab, but it was explained to me that with these care facilities, once you hit a plateau, you're released. The facility was clean. They had a caring staff and social workers who were very helpful even after we left. They still kept in touch and tried to help in a lot of ways. They had very good food as well.

My father recently spent over a week at this facility. Although the decor is rather dated, I found the place clean, and it never smelled bad. I spent many hours there, inspecting rooms for cleanliness, noticing how staff dealt with patients, watching when no one really knew I was. Another rater commented that the blinds were "filthy." I too thought so, but on closer inspection, I found the blinds in more than one room to have a texture that makes them appear dirty. They were actually clean. My father was a difficult patient & they did an admirable job dealing with him (Alzheimer's). I feel they deserve some positive feedback for all their effort.

My husband was just admitted there tonight for a knee replacement rehab.. He called me very upset. Besides his room being so hot , it also smells badly.The blinds are filthy. The a.c. unit is held together by tape and has dust all over it.. He only has one channel on the t.v. that works, the rest has snow. He said he is going to ask for a new room or he will sign himself out.

I think this place is nice an clean lots of room to move around with scooter or chair. I would go there my seft when I need to I plan to make arrangement soon :) :)
