Love living here. The apartments are all lovely—lots of light, huge closets well-laid out kitchens. Residents and staff are all caring friendly. Activities are varied—something for everyone. Food is good. This was a perfect choice for us.

I thought Grand Lodge at the Preserve was very friendly. The residents there were enjoying activities and were talking about things that were happening there. I also heard good reports about the food. I met the chef, and I also met other staff members who were very congenial. I liked the apartment and I really appreciated that I could configure it the way I liked, and that I could do whatever I wanted with it. It makes me feel that it would be very much my own home. I'm a bridge player and they have a schedule for playing bridge there. They also had activities related to entertainment, music programs, and things like that. There's a gift allowance given to help you move into the community. If you happen to have surgery or something like that six weeks into your tenure there, there's a discount if you have to go to a nursing home. There's a Madonna ProActive membership that's paid for by the Grand Lodge for the first year, and if you wish to continue with that they pay half. They have many amenities, including transportation available for medical appointments, a garage, and also a 6x6 foot storage room.

The rooms at Grand Lodge were great. The only person I met was the director, who was good. The one room that we were only interested in was a really nice two-bedroom. I liked that the location was close to all of my aunt's friends.

Grand Lodge at the Preserve is very nice, but you have to buy into it. It is not just a month-to-month. The staff was very nice. I had eaten there on one occasion, and the food was very, very good.
