My mother tested positive for COVID-19 after 10 days in quarantine but I was not informed for 4 days. At 10am I had a meeting at the facility w/ a social worker & was there for 40 to 45 minutes. After leaving, a doctor from Mercy Hospital called to inform me that my mother had been transferred to the ER at 1am, an entire 9 hours before my meeting in the same facility. I was never informed that my mother had to be transferred to the hospital by the nursing home. I suppose if my mother had died I would have had to find out by her obituary in the paper!!

My aunt is at Springfield Rehabilitation and Nursing Home. It has been great; it has been wonderful. She is grateful where she is at. She is engaging in the activities. Her room is clean and healthy. The staff is great. She enjoys them. I have eaten there, and it is like any other place. Sometimes, the food is good, and sometimes it is not. However, for the most part, it is good. Overall, my aunt likes Springfield and I like it too.
