Sister of a past resident

I was finally able to get my sister out of there last week after 20 years. I could barely stand the stench when I walked down the hall in the 200 wing for the first time on this visit. It still lingered on my clothes after I left. The floors were filthy, her small nightstand was broken and filthy as well. It seemed the only activity they had was the smoking breaks. Luckily, we have convinced my sister to quit now that she has activities to keep her mind occupied. I tried to donate books and games to the staff, and they just gave a blank look. I was there for 2 full days packing her up and did not see any attempt to make things better except for 1 poor woman that looked like a resident trying to clean what she could. The staff was somewhat friendly and maybe just doing the best with what they had to work with. As for the administration, they knew ahead of time that I was coming to take her home and were not prepared. Thank God, we have her now in a clean and well-run facility closer to family. I would never recommend this center to anyone.

Just wanted to know the Staffing and from what I experienced and through Covid was hard times with loving & caring hardworking individuals who stayed dedicated to giving back to those in need. This warms my heart to know that my family was being genuinely taking care of while staying in this facility.

my sister-in-law was in there for a 2 week stay. At end of week one she called sounding frightened. When I got there she had a black eye, was in same clothes I took her there in and was crammed in a room with 2 other patients. Staff was rude and evasive about eye. Took her home immediately. Do not put anyone in that place
