My mother has been at Oakridge of Plattsburg for three years. She is loved and well cared for. The staff go out of their way to do the simple things to make her and the other residents comfortable and happy. I've overheard conversations between residents and the staff and they are always kind, supportive and uplifting. I've witnessed members stop what they are doing to do a simple act of kindness. The staff are always looking for ways to make the lives in their care more complete. They are always trying to make their lives more fun! I don't see how the staff members manage to stay positive but I do see them supporting each other so they can go the extra mile. I never worry about my mother's care at Oakridge.

Oakridge of Plattsburg did their job, I have no complaints about the atmosphere or quality of life provided. They provide entertainment, a clean living area, assistance. I visited a man once a week and never once did he complain or act like he didn't want to be there. He was warm and welcoming, and given his condition I must say that Oakridge made him feel at home and cared for. The facilities are older, but they are up kept. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere, although not desirable, did not make you want to go screaming for the door.
