My sister lives in Southview Senior Living. It is very clean and very neat. It is adequately staffed. They have RNs, managing people, aides, and so forth. They have a dining room with good variety of meals. The care is good.

I'm moving into Southview Senior Living. It is just the right size community for me as it is not too large and not too small. It has a fair number of men as opposed to having all women and is reasonably priced, too. They have an RN staff and all three levels of care: independent, assisted, and memory care. The staff answered all the questions that I asked them in a friendly manner. They have all sorts of games, exercise, music, picnics, barbecues, happy hours, and brunches. The food was very good, too.

Mom will be moving to Southview Senior Living. The place is very good and well kept. The staff was very helpful. They are also very responsive when I would call them. The apartments are very nice and mom likes her space. I know they do outings to different events in the city. They also have things going on during the day. They have movies and play games.

Southview had that homey atmosphere and seemed to have adequate staff. It had a lot of activities. The rooms were not as big, but were comfortable and homey looking.

The best facility that I saw that I really loved more than any other was Southview Senior Living. We toured the whole facility. It's senior living. I think they do independent living, and they have a memory care area. I would love to have my mom there right now, but it's not possible. Their facility was top notch from top to bottom. I would certainly recommend that place to anyone. The memory care area is locked and secure, but each person has their own studio or 1-bedroom. The studios are huge. It's high ceilings; it's very open windows. There's a living room setting for activities where they have their activities and eat in that area. They had a garden off at one end with a walking path, a beautiful fountain, and beautiful flowers that the residents have helped plant. The staff was very engaged. It was very warm and cozy. To me, it's like if someone who has Alzheimer's and dementia could live as independently as they would want to live without even realizing that they're in a locked, structured facility. It was awesome. Very comfortable and very open, very warm and welcoming.
