As a child, I spent many wonderful hours at the Richfield Pool "“ so it seemed like a logical place to find an assisted living facility for my grandmother. The Richfield Senior Suites is owned and operated by live-in registered nurse, which we really liked. It is a homey atmosphere that provides affordable carefor its residents. The grounds were well tended and the place was clean and bright. Everyone seemed very well taken care of "“ as was all of the interior that we saw. The rooms and communal areas were all immaculate. It is clear that someone is ensuring that the space remain clean at all times. There appeared to be plenty of physical activities to choose from "“ including walking, exercising, and classes. The residents are encouraged to move around as much as possible and enjoy unrestricted living. The dining area was warm and friendly and resembled what you would see in a large home. The food looked delicious and it was obvious that everyone was really enjoying themselves. This home enjoys regular visits from friends and family, as well as community workers "“ many of whom seem to know the residents well. The residents enjoy a variety of activities, from exercise to reading and playing games. They are also taken on outings on a regular basis. Richfield is very close to Minneapolis, so they can also enjoy the theater, as well as local events, films and other gatherings. Based on what we saw, I could recommend anyone living here "“ either temporarily or permanently "“ as a nice home for any senior.
