My brother moved to Aurora on France, and the facility is very nice. I would say that they are medium to high in terms of value for money. Everything's pretty good. I'm just not crazy about the part where every time you walk in, you have to take your temperature and everything. It's just a safety thing. We chose this place because he likes the area.

This place almost killed my mother. She was in the TCU for a fall recovery. She also had a urinary tract infection, it clearly stated so in the hospital transfer orders clearly stating she needed continued antibiotics. The nurse practitioner in the TCU refused to treat the UTI because my mother had not complain about it. Numerous times I pointed out the hospital orders stated to give antibiotics yet the nurse practitioner refused. 30 days later my mother was rushed to the emergency room across the street at Fairview hospital and was diagnosed with sepsis due to the untreated UTI. She almost died. Was discharged with AFIB caused by the sepsis. Staff is incompetent. On another occasion my mother, who was in a leg brace and listed as "two person assist" rang to go to the bathroom, the aide stoped by her room and told my mother, "Girl, you got two legs, get yourself out of bed and walk there." Aurora is a disgrace to the Ebenezer Society.

My wife has been in rehab there for over a week. Sometimes her room phone works and 15 minutes later it doesn't for hours. Keep getting the message that the phone number is wrong. It isn't! Have repeatedly reported it. No response! And not fixed.

Aurora on France was nice. They had really good food, and they seemed to have a good variety. They just had a hard time getting to my mom sometimes when she needed them. I thought they were a little overpriced, but they had nice rooms, good facilities, and they were new. They had a porch and a salon too.
